what drives me insane is that the reason why vera can’t stop looking at klavier’s face is made even less surprising by the fact that when vera met kristoph, he was about 25 when she was 12 prior to the 7 yr gap, and 25 is very close to what klavier’s age is during turnabout succession, making the resemblance even more pronounced. klavier probably would have looked to her to be almost identical to a younger kristoph
