Meet

Matteo Lafayette

Matteo is the eldest child of Alessio Lafayette (Bianchi) and Victoria Lafayette. His rivalry with his youngest brother “Louis Lafayette” knows no bounds. He carries that locket with him everywhere he goes. However, he refuses to show whose picture is in it. Matteo is commonly mistaken for being a gay man, even his brothers swear it, however, he is not. His attire is his signature clothing line, as he always makes it look like ink wash print. Matteo is the oddball in the family who decided to continue living in France, whereas Florian and Louis moved to Los Angeles, California. Matteo is the richest in the Lafayette family, thus spending his money on his nephew(s) Jean and Neil. After Jean became an adult, he has not visited LA since. He has not been in contact with Louis or Florian in a long time.

Having married Caroline later on, the two had a daughter they named Adelaide.

I just realized I never elaborated on the show I'm animating.

So basically.... @askhenrymorris and @quirk-engine as well as I and another close friend have decided “all of our ace attorney oc's are so good, why not make a mini series” so here I am.

I have been working on animating the opening for a month. Obviously animation is not simple, I know this. However, my plan is to get it done by earlier January since I am on break.

Obviously, this is just a group of friends, so we will be voice acting each character as we have been.

Q/A

“Will you be using ace attorney official characters?”

No, as this is going to be animated, we will be altering our lore to not get copyrighted by CapCom.

“Will this still take place in 'Japanifornia'?”

Yes, but also no. This is strictly LA based, as we do not wish to interfere with CapCom.

“How will this be any fun if Phoenix Wright or Miles Edgeworth isn't here?”

It will be! This will be an original series. It takes place on our leading man, Jean Lafayette, a man from France who moved to the United States in his Twenties. He is a stone cold Prosecutor striving for Justice. Or is it Justice? His sense of Justice is different, unique if I do say so myself!

Yes, of course, I will be tagging this with ace attorney, because the originals were and are ace attorney oc's. However this series will not be like, “rahhh phoenix wright” so it will not hold any official characters, streets, buildings or anything to CapCom themselves.

So this is just for fun, no like official platforms besides YouTube.

Jean Lafayette

Los Angeles' most current hotshot prosecutor. Is he loved? Or is he hated? The media says both. He does not care what the news or other types of media says about him. All he cares about is getting the job done and over with. Regardless if the defendant is innocent or guilty. His sense of justice is off. Only his definition of justice is the true meaning in his head. Will his opinions change over time..?
