Just a friendly reminder that a lot of sunscreens have ingredients in them that are toxic to pets. If you're going out in the sun at all, wear sunscreen, reapply every couple of hours, and wash it off before you hang out with your pets so they don't ingest any of it and get sick. 🌞

Mod Zeta - Hiatus?

Hi, everyone. I know I haven't been cranking out mood boards (or much of anything else) as much as I used to, and I'm sorry about that. I really enjoy making mood boards and playlists and all, but I've been pretty burnt out lately. There are a number of factors contributing to this, and I thought maybe if I rode it out long enough that I'd be able to get back into it, but something has come up recently that has made me realize that I really, really need a break.

To make a long story short, I have a cat who I adopted in my early preteen years. I'm an adult now, so he's lived a very long, happy life that he's now reaching the end of. He's obviously very old, and it's pretty likely he has cancer. He's eating less and less every day, he's all skin and bones, he can't jump basically at all anymore, and so on. The last time we saw the vet, they estimated that he had maybe a couple of months left in him, but we will see the vet again in a few days to find out whether or not he's in a substantial amount of pain (he does have a tumor I can feel in his stomach, especially now that he's so thin), and whether it would be warranted to have him put down so he doesn't suffer any longer than necessary.

So, for a while, I will probably be devoting a good amount of my creative energy to making a photo album of him. After I've had the time and space to grieve, I'll think about mood boards again.

Hello!

Today, you will see some asks go up that are tagged as "upcoming." Those asks are requests that I've not yet finished, but I am working on them currently. I'm not sure when I'll be done with them, but I'm just posting them to create some room in the drafts and inbox.

The "upcoming" tag will more or less become my to-do list, so you can check there if you're curious about whether or not your request is in the works yet. :)

The order in which these asks are published is the order I plan to publish the finished requests, as well. That means the ask posted after this will be the first on my list, the next will be second on my list, after that will be third, and so on.

When we open requests again,

(and I'm not sure when that will be) my plan is to keep the inbox open anywhere from one to three days, depending on the number of requests we get. This is just to keep the workload manageable.
