Hundreds of animals died because the Russians blew up the hydroelectric station in Nova Kakhovka.. Pets have to escape from flooded places. The zoo in Nova Kahovka was completely flooded. All animals died, only swans and ducks survived..

Fandom really doesn’t take advantage enough of the fact that Itachi Uchiha canonically paints his nails. Like I know it’s an akatsuki aesthetic thing like the cloaks. But that’s just a good excuse to give him a grunge phase in any other AU. The necklace, the ring, the messy side bangs, the fake look of apathetic disdain and nonchalance? Dude definitely had a grunge phase. Canon itachi was having an existential crisis before he was even 10 years old. Even in a modern au where he’s not a product of child soldier oriented education, he’d still definitely have an existential crisis before he even reaches 18 and a grunge phase would be a great way to show it. He’d still be polite and everything cause having a crisis isn’t an excuse to lack manners. But dude would definitely be staring at the ceiling of his bedroom at 3 am wondering about the mysteries of the universe and low key panicking because of it. Waking up the next morning to colour his nails dark purple cause black is too on the nose.

If I don’t write grunge phase Itachi before the end of the year, something has happened to me.
