I suppose I didn't fall off the grid so much as actually fall off the face of the earth. My sincerest apologies for that, folks. I'll be on here for a few hours, but I have an unfortunate announcement. Because I've been away for so long, looking through my threads, I do believe I'll be dropping most of them for the simplest reason of...I don't have the muse for it. If anyone would like to plot something out, I'd be more than happy to. Just send me a message and we can be on our way to some amazing threads.

Okay guys here’s the deal-io. I’m sorry for not being on as of late. My creative writing class ironically enough put me on a writer’s block, and I had assignments due, and my stress level got super high because I didn’t turn in some assignments on time. However, that’s all done and over with now—turned them in! I found out as well that today’s my Friday for work, so the next two days will hopefully be spent at home so I can finally work on replies. However, after that, I’m putting in a seven day work week, which will at least be forty hours. So I’ll most likely be a dead potato after that. I thank you all for being so patient with me!

HA WOW it actually happened. I hit 100. If I had better icon/graphic making skills I would totally do a whole giveaway thing but I can just save that for another milestone. Instead I’m just going to list some of the people I’ve enjoyed seeing on my dash since I made Fetch and other’s that I’ve had a great time talking to ooc (or both for some).  This list is going to be incredibly short because I’m still having a hard time finding people to follow. But I love you all and I greatly appreciate that you’ve all willingly decided to follow me. <3

"What, like it's so impossible for me to be in one?" She growled lightly. True, she rarely showed any other emotion other than seriousness, but she didn't think it would be that odd for her to show some sign of...humanity in her.

Pan just stares at her.

   She’s sincerely perplexed at the other’s actions.

"You. You were in a good mood." Pan says. She’s still shaking, crossing her arms in an attempt to disguise this behavior. "Are you sure that earpiece of yours isn’t stuck too far inside your head—?"

"...I don't know, truth be told." A bark of a laugh came from her, shaking her head. "Right. I'll work on it." Maybe in a million years.  "I just happened to be in a good mood, and you were the first person I saw." Really? That's your excuse? She didn't even know what she was saying anymore--her action in and of itself was baffling. 

God damn- I’m getting a soft spot for this woman. Shit. 

   What am I doing?

"I mean, where did you even come from?" Pan huffs. She looks back to her and blinks. Even her expression softens slightly.

She sighs, pausing to rub her face.

  “Look, it’s not that. You just scared me.” Pan says.

She looks back. “You should work on the hugging.” She comments.

She simply shrugged. "I'm sorry for that. It was...spur of the moment." She cleared her throat, taking a few steps back after seeing her reaction. What had come over Brooke? Whatever, it didn't matter.  Her hug was really that bad? Well, inexperience came with a cost, she supposed. 

"It won't happen again."

She lets out an ungraceful yelp, trying to steady the hands that shake uncontrollably. 

"I’m used to hugs but not from you-!" Pan snaps. "I thought you were going to try and encase me in concrete or something—!" She adds. The conduit is rightfully scared out of her mind, taking a step back from Augustine. 

   ”I mean— Shit. Your ‘hug’ felt more like a vice-grip tackle.”

She narrows her eyes, a hand moving over her phone. It’s the only piece of technology she has— That being a jailbroken iPhone. She wrinkles her nose up as she tries to read what the message says, suddenly seized up in Augustine’s arms.

Panicking, the pyrokinetic instinctively begins to heat up and wriggle. 

   ”L-let go—!” 

A light laugh escaped the older woman, pulling away just as quickly as she'd embraced. "Not used to hugs either, are we?"

"Not soon enough, I'm afraid. The weather reports claim it'll be like this well into the night. It doesn't seem like you're in...much of a hurry to be anywhere, so this is the least I can do for you."

Pan was in between spots. More or less in the process of moving from one known spot to sleep in to the other, luckily none of which were Fetch’s previous place of residence. 

The rain numbed her up. It was her way of just forgetting whatever was going on at the current point in time, allowing the rain to just relax her. The only downside was a loss of her abilities. Fire was so much more difficult to power up when you’re constantly sizzling. Needless to say, her hood is down and she’s soaked to the bone.

   She hears murmurs.

       The hair on the back of her neck sticks up, and she shivers.

Pan just outright tenses and flinches at Augustine’s sudden offer and appearance. Green eyes go wide, flitting across the other’s form in front of her. 

     ”I don’t need it.” Pan holds it back out. She holds a slightly hollow expression once more. “It’s going to let up soon.”
