When we fought for our right to work, the role of the housemaker was still applicable. I understand that women are frustrated, we are expected the be a 50's housewife AND a "girlboss" (work our asses off) and still be able to satisfy the needs of a man. We fought for more freedom and gained more expectations too in this system.
But stepping back instead of forwards on your thinking will NEVER be the solution.
Idk what to tell you, but you need a good career and not depend on a man, otherwise you're trapped. You need to be ready to fuck off the second your Partner starts that "ill babysit out kids" /"im too tired to do xyz" bs because you will be tired as fuck too, but noone will give a damn about it and expect you to still fullfill your role.

this little glamorized misogyny "joke" has run its course right. can we leave this corny demonic shit in 2023. it is done now. we've had enough.

Ppl act like getting the nessecary treatments for transitions are just as easy as a walk-in piercing or tattoo☠️
“what if kids identify with something and it ends up just being a phase-?” good. stop teaching and expecting kids (and adults honestly) to formulate permanent traits and ideas of themselves. everything in life is a phase. that doesn’t make it any less legitimate while you experience it. let people explore themselves and know it’s okay if what you think about yourself changes.

The way terfs literally reciprocate century old anti-women propaganda JUST to be transphobic literally proves that their feminism is utter bullshit

As a black woman who strongly advocates for both women of color and trans people, the last few days have been a horror to experience. The power of white tears was once again put on display during imane's boxing match. Watching that girl have the whole world literally turn against her bc a white woman couldn't take a loss is absolutely terrifying. This is not the first time a woman of color's femininity and womanhood was questioned due to the fact that they were brilliant at a sport. Serena Williams, Caster Semenya and many other women of color faced the same atrocities due to their brilliance and the fact that they didn't fit it the mainstream whitewashed image of what femininity and womanhood should be. We need a radical change and in order to do this, we need start by deplatforming people like Jk Rowling who are voices of both transphobia and systemic racism.

It's international women's day. White feminists will speak about the hijab being "oppressive" but will not speak about the IOF abducting Palestinian women, stripping them of their hijab, and denying them the right to wear it.
It's international women's day. White feminists will tell you the importance of making period products free, but will remain silent when Palestinian women and little girls in Gaza have to use leftover fabric from tents because aid is blocked and they don't have pads.
It's international women's day. White feminists will gladly share fake accusations -which have been debunked- about mass rapes against Israeli women, but will completely ignore the sexual violence and rape threats Palestianian hostages have been and are subjected to in Israeli prisons.
It's international women's day. White feminists will scream about women's education and the Taliban -even though they only use it for their Islamophobic agendas, not out of concern- and they will remain silent when we say schools and universities in Gaza have been bombed, and there is an educational crisis.
Stop looking the other way. Stop being silent. Free Palestine.

edit: this post is not for terfs. trans women are women.
you ever just think about how across the whole of human history, the window of time where women have been able to choose not to spend their lives cooking and cleaning and being pregnant for men they never wanted to marry is so vanishingly small, and even then that’s not an option for women in lots of areas of the world, and there are girls being taken out of school and forced to marry at 12 years old, and if nothing changes for them then all they’ll ever know is a life of forced servitude and abuse and rape, and how some men just see this as fucking normal
you ever just think about how the gulf between women’s rights in different countries is so massive and there are men working their fingers to the bone to strip back reproductive rights because they look at their society where women can live their lives free from being shackled to men through financial dependence and constant pregnancy and childbirth and think ‘this won’t do at all’
you ever just think about the surge of ‘tradwife’ propaganda and how people are romanticising the vulnerability and dependence that some women would kill to break out of. how women are romanticising their own oppression

Being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.
Abolish the sub-minimum wage, increase income caps for disability assistance, and establish universal basic income.
digital illustration of a disabled nonbinary person with leg braces. They have a green mullet and are wearing a black t-shirt, purple cargo pants, green chunky heels and a green belt. There's text that reads, 'being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.'

Tradwives need to realize the seriousness of the shit they are getting themselves into.
The society isn't all that kind to women.
