dark me: dwight RARELY if ever gets mad at anyone but if he did it would be the Worst Experience(tm) because as somebody who has been belittled & put down his entire life, dwight would be absolutely VENOMOUS with his words & knows very well what to say to make a person feel bad

the other’s nerves are palpable, and garrett gives his best reassuring smile ( it feels awkward on his face ; more like a grimace ). wet and shining eyes make garrett bow his head, an uncomfortable prickling rising up his neck ; like he’s seeing something he shouldn’t. but a moment later he straightens to his full height, and meets the other’s gaze head on.

“it’s alright.” one hand is raised and spread for the other to see, as he approaches ; the other goes for the bandage in his pocket. “where are you hurt?” close up, it’s easier to see the stain. it’s stark against the white shirt, despite how dirty it is. just how long has he been here? the question makes his mouth go dry with fear and he scrambles to say something to get it off his mind. “garrett. i’m garrett, by the way.”

[ 👓 ] —- - Dwight made sure to press his sleeves to both his eyes, preventing any tears that threatened to fall. It was already embarrassing enough that he’d been spotted during such a vulnerable moment; he didn’t need to sob his eyes out in front of this guy too.

He then frowned as he pulled his hands away, revealing the source of all the bleeding. A nasty gash presented itself, just underneath his ribs. A result of one of the killers swinging at him.

Voice.

Dwight is very, very soft spoken with exceptions. Sometimes he talks in such a gentle manner, people don’t hear what he said at all; thinking he simply ignored them. It’s something that causes him quite a bit of distress, since people usually get mad at him, while he has to explain to them that yes he did respond. 

However, this isn’t always the case. When in a very relaxed state, or talking about something he’s passionate over, he can speak with a normal / average voice level. 

It’s very rare he ever raises his voice or yells, but when he does do so, it’s usually out of concern or distress, rather than anger.
