Production Challenges
My challenges were few but a bit taxing on my abilities as a person in the creative field:
I had difficulties getting the different video footage because I had to work with two separate locations and combine them to make it look like one coherent video. Additionally, the filming went through different changes as ideas developed for the script It started off as two men harassing a girl as she passed by and that developed into two men noticing her as she approached them, towering over her and trying to block her path as she passed by. In location two, with the child actor, originally her facial expressions were to be shown in the video but due to the privacy concerns of her parents, just the back of her was shot. Because of that I had to choose the footage of her with the most dramatic audio and edit it into the video where I wanted it. Some of the footage had to be compromised  to make the video shorter to get it at exact 30 seconds. Because of this, the ending credits went by too quickly. I had a few challenges with the editing software as well in terms of audio which was soft and muffled at some parts

Some short feedback comments on the final PSA video.
The people who viewed it were given a no-sharing disclaimer because of the child actor. From the comments persons immediately felt sorry for Baby-doll. This confirmed that the video achieved its goal based on the Hypodermic Needle Media Theory.

Ripomatic/Trailer example of the PSA as a Point of View video for the most part. This short film was also chosen as an example because the set and audio created a feeling a fear and distress which is what I want the PSA to express

Street Harassment Research
In Trinidad and Tobago, there are a significant number of cases of human trafficking of women and girls, violence towards females and sexual harassment of females. In Trinidad and Tobago there are feminist groups that advocate for women rights and spread awareness of discrimination against women such as Womantra, Hollaback T&T, Woman Speak and others. Hollaback T&T deals specifically with street harassment of women. According to Fileborn (2013), the term street harassment and sexual harassment are often used interchangeably, however, sexual harassment is used more frequently when referring to the treatment of women in the workplace which is usually not tolerated by employers. Sexual harassment can refer to different behaviours such as verbal comments (cat-calling, requests for sexual interaction), non-verbal actions (hand and facial gestures), physical harassment (touching, grabbing, groping) and quid pro quo harassment (threats of harm or reprisals if sexual advances are not accepted) (Pinna and Gannon, 2012).
As an international feminist organization, Hollaback, together with Cornell University, conducted a 2014 survey on street harassment and the research was released in May 2015. There were 16,600 participants from 42 cities around the world, making it the largest survey conducted on street harassment (Hollaback, 2015). It was found that the majority of the respondents have been a victim of street harassment during puberty, 50% of the women in 22 countries have reported to being fondled or groped by men and 71% of the respondents globally have been followed (Hollaback, 2015).

Treatment Summary
PSA Concept Summary:
The scene starts with Baby-doll walking along the street towards a park. The audience does not see her face, but they can hear the sound of high-heel shoes treading the concrete pavement. She continues to walk at a steady pace and approaches two males, Wolf 1 and Wolf 2, standing on the pavement. Wolf 1 is wearing a dark hoodie and jeans and is wearing a sneering grin. Wolf 2 by contrast is dressed rather smartly in a shirt and soft pants, but has a hungry expression as he strokes his chin. As she approaches them, they begin to cat-call her and tries to grab her hand until she passes them. Baby-doll panics and starts to walk faster. The sound of her footsteps quicken as she breaks out into a short run. The audience still do not see her face. She stops and pants slowly and heavily. Her feet are shown. She is wearing a pair of ballet flats with a small heel. The rest of her figure comes into view slowly moving upward as if she is being surveyed by the audience, until her face is seen. The audience sees that she is but an 11 year old child. Her long black disheveled hair sticks to her sweaty face. She has a terrified and tearful expression. Her full figure and background comes into view. She is standing in a pink top and jeans, clutching a stuffed animal in her arms and calls out for her daddy.Words appear on the screen while a soft melancholy tune plays in the background. The caption reads “Every woman is daddy’s little girl. Stop street harassment of women. Credits to the non-profit organization and the production team appear on screen briefly.
