BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Felipe S. Yalong serves as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Group Head of Corporate Services Group, Treasurer and Director of GMA Network Inc since May 22, 2008. He has been a Director of the Company since 2002. Aside from GMA Network, Inc., he also serves as Director and Corporate Treasurer of GMA Holdings, Inc., Scenarios, Inc., and GMA Network Films, Inc.; Director of Unicapital, Inc., Majalco Finance and Investments, Inc., and GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc.; Corporate Treasurer of RGMA Network, Inc., Mediamerge Corp.; Executive Vice President of RGMA Marketing and Productions, Inc.; and Corporate Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Major in Accounting from the Philippine School of Business Administration-Manila and completed the Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

PSBA Student wins in the "Universi-Tees T-Shirt Design Making Contest"

(Article From The Business Journal, the official publication of PSBA-Manila) Angelene Castillo Anthony, third year, BS Accountancy, won 3rd prize in the Universi-Tees T-shirt design Making contest which was sponsored by Isetann Department Store. The theme of the contest was"Voices of the Youth". Angelene got Php 20,000 from the contest and oyr School got Php 10,000. The T-shirt designed by Ms. Anthony is printed below. Its background, a newspaper, stands for a message -- "just like the newspaper, the voices of the youth can say what they think is right. They are empowered to speak the truth."

ABEDNEGO P. PELAYO - Managing Partner Mr. Abednego P. Pelayo started as a junior staff member of Guzman, Bocaling & Co. and made his way through as semi-senior and senior auditor to audit manager until he was admitted as partner.  Professional Experience Mr. Pelayo handles clients of almost all types of industry and has extensive experience in clients engaged in manufacturing operations, as well as Recipient Contracted Audits. Funding Agencies Audit Experience He handles Recipient Contracted Audits of the sponsored projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other foreign government/agency funded programs and projects. Mr. Pelayo completed a workshop/training on U.S. Government Auditing Standards and Foreign Recipient Contracted Audit (RCA) conducted in Manila by USAID Office of the Regional Inspector General/Singapore. Aside from USAID, he also handles audits of the programs and projects funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Australian Aid (AusAid) and European Commission and other international aid organization. Academe Experience His professional career includes his former  ten (10) year teaching position at the Philippine School of Business Administration (PSBA)  and, afterwards, as special lecturer in Accounting, Auditing, and Management Advisory Services subjects at the College of Business and Arts of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Professional Organization Involvement An active member of the PICPA and the ACPAPP, he involved himself in its numerous committees including the PICPA Committee on Public Accounting, ACPAPP Committee on Meetings, Committee on Accounting Principles, Committee on Research and Publications and Committee on Education where he served as chairman. He was elected as one of the Directors of ACPAPP for the year 1993 - 1995. In September 1997, he joined the PICPA delegation to the 10th Conference of the Asean Federation of Accountants held at Petaying Jaya (near KL), Malaysia. Extending his field of experience, he has attended various seminars on current tax matters hosted by PICPA and ACPAPP, and has exposed himself to trends in management consultancy services. He had been a delegate to one such seminar hekd in Hongkong sponsored by Asia Pacific Region Management Services Committee of Grant Thomton International (GTI). Education Mr. Pelayo graduated with honors from the University of the East with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting). Mr. Noel Antonio E. Canlas opted to grow in the field of public practice starting as a junior staff member of Guzman, Bocaling & Co. His commitment to the profession saw him  through as semi-senior and senior auditor to audit manager.

Professional Experience Mr. Canlas' industry audit experience includes manufacturing, construction, mining,  financing and investment companies, non-life insurance, real estate, hotel and restaurant, brokerage firm, securities and stock brokers, publishing, trading, banking and non-government organization (NGO). His specialization extends to financial, accounting,management and tax consultancy. Funding Agencies Audit Experience  For many years, Mr. Canlas has been in-charge of the audit of Recipient Contracted Audits of the sponsored projects of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other foreign government/agency funded programs and projects.
