tbh i know it goes against what the game says but I always imagine V dying over a longer period than a few weeks.

in my ideal world, the heist would take place in early autumn. most flowers and trees are still green, but everything is slowly starting to die off.

then, after gigs and attempts to track down information about the relic and even developing a strong romantic relationship or two, the first cold snap hits and snow begins to fall softly. meanwhile, V is nearly on their dying breath.

maybe this is purely fanfic, as i know northern california in 2077 would never see snow, but idk. i think it gives it a more realistic timeline but also some environmental symbolism which i will break any rules for.

i think its really interesting how kerry is like. the only one who has an emotional outburst on v's voicemail in the credits even if you dont romance him. idk. "do you ever answer the phone- like, ever?" his tone is so much more hostile than other characters, everyone else is just pleading for V to come back and answer the phone, but kerry is openly pissed about it. idk. its interesting to me he has no emotional regulation and he does not want it
