I saw this described perfectly online somewhere by a black lives matter activist. I genuinely forgot the source so if anyone remembers please tag. But the gist of it is:

Biden said: If cops are threatened while apprehending a suspect, they should shoot the suspect's leg instead of going for a kill shot. This way we can save lives.

This is definitely not right. The logic is all fucked up. But. BUT.

It has kings, coups, wars, prisoners and an unlikely love story that starts our burning with hatred like the roaring fires but mellows enough into embers to make way for understanding, tenderness and love. (This story is making me use flowery language, it’s that powerful). This 152000 word giant mammoth of a story is so so so well written, with every emotion being wrung out that you FEEL the fear, the loss, the love, the horror... The suspense works very well in the scenes with conflict. It’s a multi-dimensional story with layered characters that process things in way that makes you understand why they act how they act and each decision they make. 

WARNING: The story has graphic depictions of violence, mentions of abuse, graphic depictions of childhood beating and abuse. Don’t read it if you have triggers.
