Does anyone else ever get an intrusive thought about that bit in Digestivo where Cordell glances down and indirectly tells Hannibal he has a nice dick while describing how he'd keep him alive as he strategically took him apart to cook him, because I just did and I remain mind-boggled as to how that was shown on network television. The tone of that whole scene is so darkly kinky. Hannibal was already strung up naked in an effort to reduce him that very much did not work, he's still the most powerful thing in the room, but then Cordell starts talking to him that way and he's receptive and interested, and you're stuck sitting there wondering if maybe Cordell is getting a nice little show that the audience is not allowed to see.
