Vapes
Everyone has the right to vape if they want to. That stated, don't vape indoors and in a store that you can't smoke a cigarette inside. Some people have reactions to those things and even if you aren't trying to, you can cause a reaction.

Laughing till it hurts
My brother walks in, wants to say something, gets interrupted by my mother and then me.
My mother makes a comment about maybe if we interrupt him enough times he'll start twitching like Sheldon on Big Bang.
This leads me to interrupting again but with singing of a dorky tune. He asks us to kindly stop so we do. He starts to speak and then his cat interrupts him with a loud meow and my mom and I die laughing because even his cat took part!

Ah, the insanity of children
Child 1: why is limestone called limestone?
Child 2: because the caveman squeezed out their lime juice on it.
Kids... just... what even are their brains? XD

English - engrish
Everyone messes up their words at some point or another. Today, while looking for parking spots I tried to point out a spot "between the truck and car" what I almost said was "between the tuck and far" what I actually said was "between the tuck and car"
My mother laughed and, while parking, shouted "the fuck and tar!"

Bullshit
America - land of the free, land of equality, land of dreams! BULLSHIT! We are not free, we are not equal, and we live a nightmare! You must pay to live, spending hundreds on insurance or thousands without it! We are forced to pay even what we can't afford because nothing is more important than money in this country! We are not equal as white men are safer than black or hispanic men. We are not equal as women are less than men in pay, right, and many other ways! We are not equal as long as white people (myself being one) are held greater than other for something so stupid as skin color or origins! We do not live a dream where you get the help you need, have a job to support yourself, have an opportunity to do what you want in life! We live a nightmare where you have to have a degree or extra schooling just for a job that supports you, maybe not even then! Opportunity is not something everyone has when some people are forced to work 2-3 jobs to support themselves with only a highschool degree because they dont have the time or extra money for college! Sure you can use loans get scholarships and grants, but what about time and health? No human can run on 4 or less hours of sleep for days on end working daily, going to classes around shifts, and taking care of themselves! America is better than some places but not enough to maintain the titles it once held as Land of the Free.

Breakfast
So we're going to breakfast, it's Sunday. It's busy but church hasnt gotten out yet. My mom thus refers to those already here as the "Heathen Crowd" despite the fact we're both practicing witches.

The Official “Log Off” Protest F.A.Q!
The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW.
This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.
So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.
Times are listed above depending on timezone!
This post responds to some very common questions about the protest. So make sure to read it over!
How to Export Your Blog:

There is also an official Tumblr blog (ironic, huh?) and Twitter for the protest! It’s at:
Twitter - https://twitter.com/logoffprotest

There will be official updates on each account. Make sure to tag us in any posts, or use the hashtag #logoff2018 !
Thanks for your support guys. Let’s fight to make Tumblr better. Actually better.

I'm a writer, nothing published or posted on websites, just shared with a couple close friends. This story has taken years of me writing and rewriting just to get a solid layout of what I want my story to be. Short stories to help figure out the characters, hours and hours of working with a close friend to figure out details of the world and world-building, and I was finally making the story. The third chapter of the rough draft, before everything would be revised and edited into a final copy of my story. What happens, I open a soda to get a drink and it explodes! Does any get on the computer, yes. Is the computer fine and is all of the small couple drops removed without damage, yes. The computer is fine, everything has been saved, aside of my sheets since im writing on my bed. Skip ahead 15-20 minutes, an error screen pops up telling me the computer needs to restart, which it does automatically. Then another error screen. My harddrive fucking crashed! I might not get anything back, and its not just my story on there! Pictures of family, some dead, school work, my story, and other things are on there! Only about a third, maybe less, of my story is saved on a seperate platform. Only the pictures on my phone are still safe since I hadn't deleted what I transferred. Damn near 6 Fucking years to get this far in my writing and I might have just lost sverything except the first of 5 drafts for the second chapter, everything except the first of 7 drafts for the third chapter, and the entire first chapter along with a parge majority of my notes, all my current schoolwork and school notes, and all but two pages of my world-building notes. I'm going to see if a friend can fix it, but either way I'm screwed!

Cute
I didnt get a picture, but a bird got stuck in one of the barns by my house. Our landlord owns them so my mom aand I stay out of them. There's a lot of scrap wood in one of them, an old dairy barn, and one large peice of plywood leans against a window. Sometimes birds will nest in the barn, and some get stuck since they cant spread their wings or climb out if they get between that plywood and window.
So far, 3 small birds have gotten stuck in there. The first time, I saw it and managed to get it out of the barn without either of us getting hurt and it was just fine. The second one, sadly, died before I knew it was there, and the third one was just fine.
I was walking my dog and it was hitting the window trying to get out, that's how I saw it and the dead one. I put my dog inside and went to get it out, right as the landlord drove by. He ended up turning around and coming back just as I was walking out and all he said was what before I opened my hands and a little bird flew off.
Anyways, I saved a bird and left my landlord with a wtf expression on his face XD

Ok Then...
Something I never expected to say "I love the Satanic Church."
As a practicing greenwitch Pagan, and someone who has researched many other practices of magic before finding what I identify with, I am happy with what the Satanic Church currently is doing.
The Satanic Church has filed lawsuits for misrepresentation in the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch series! There are definitely many things wrong with the representation in the series and not just for witches but also for Satanists.

Not Okay
I needed to run to the store for dog food. As I'm pulling into the walmart parking lot, i notice a man sitting by the stop sign. No sign, sitting on a torn up tarp with what I assume to be his belongings (a blanket, what hes wearing, a very old looking bike, and a duffel bag). Its in the 40's outside (farenheit) and this man is sitting on wet, cold tarp with nowhere to go freezing his butt off. I have to have money for gas so I can get home tonight, but that leaves $5 that arent being spent on necessities.
I went to McDonald's because it was just a short drive away (hell to walk even on a good day though). I got the man a thing of fries and a coffee with some sugar packets because its cold and a warm drink is good for cold days. I go back to walmart, I park, and I walk over to the man and hand him the food and drink. His first rraction was to ask, "you got me coffee?" As if it was unbelievable. I told him that yes I got him coffee and some fries. I said it's not much but it's the least I can do. He said thank you and I asked how he was doing. He said he'd been doing alright, blanket was a bit wet from the rain but alright. I couldnt buy him a blanket, or anything more than what I did, but I wish I could.
As I'm getting ready to leave, in the car and about to buckle, a van pulls up and a guy gets out. The van was one of those long white vanes with no windows aside of the front, and my first thought as this man is walking towards my car is "crap" but I roll down my window and get a shocking question.
"I saw what you did. What possessed you to do that?" Those were his words, exactly.
I was shocked and just said what so he repeated them and I answered.
That man is sitting out here in the cold on wet grass with nothing. I can't do much, I don't have the money to do much, but the least I can do is give him a warm coffee and some food.
The man said what I did was a kind thing and that I was a kind person, so I thanked him. He then said there weren't many people like me in the world and that he needed to see something like that today, an act of kindness when he was losong faith in the world. I thanked him again and we both went our seperate ways.
I know the facts, I know the statistics. The man I helped was a kind older gentleman that didn't expect anything from anyone, just hoped someone would help.he never expected anyone to actually interact with him and was surprised when I did. Nobody has to be homeless, there's enough food and homes for everyone if it were distributed properly. A lot of times, homeless people are not there from laziness, or inability to work, or stupidity. They get fired or evicted without enough time to find a new place or get a new job. Without an address, most places wont hire or even keep you. When you become homeless, judgments are passed and its hard to recover.
More than likely, that man was homeless because of things he couldnt control and nobody was there to help him. If life were fair, or even logical, he would at least have shelter and food because the facts are there. Enough homes and food are available for the entire American population, its just not distributed that way.

Sick
I'm rather sick right now. Knowing this, and almost passing out, I decided to stay home from school today. My mom, as she's leaving, is telling me to push liquids and nibble some crackers. Then she remembers we have grape juice and tells me,
"Stomach juice is great for... stomach juice? I meant grape juice, grape juice is great for upset stomachs!"

Twisted
My mom showed me the cylindrical cooler she was given at a work-related meeting today. My first rraponse was to say she could fit a head in it. My implication was a decapitated head of course. She replied that she had said the same thing TO HER DOSTRICT REPRESENTATIVE! A different representative had looked at her and said "of course you would think of that."
I guess the saying like mother like daughter is held very, very true in this aspect of my family.

My Pets
Growing up, I’ve only lived in two locations without owning pets. It was always my mom, my brother, and I along with whatever pets we had at the time. Mostly, we had cats or dogs, though from 4th grade until 8th grade, four years, I had two gerbils, one albino named Scampers that died at 7 and a pure black named Midnight that died at 9. These gerbils were given to me, with my mother’s permission, because my teacher, who had them, couldn’t keep them at the end of the school year. The gerbils weren’t the first pets we had taken in because the owner couldn’t care for them. I wanted to make this post because I currently have four pets in my house, two of them being mine and the other two my mom’s and brother’s. For the first time in my life, to my memory and knowledge, we bought a pet from a breeder, a beautiful German Shepherd intended to be trained as a service dog. At less than 2 years of age, she has been diagnosed with degenerative arthritis, which is highly uncommon for her age. The vet told my mom this along with some other, concerning information. Apparently, with things like this, a lot of people will euthanize or get rid of the animal because it shortens the life-span and the animal will most likely be on medication the rest of it’s life to help. My family doesn’t do this. Unless we don’t have a choice, we will not give up an animal until it lives it’s whole life. We bought this dog, for a lot of money, but she is no different than our other pets. She is family and she is not going anywhere anytime soon. Our three cats, all are rescues of some kind. My mother’s cat, Gypsy, a calico that’s smaller than an average adult, was a stray that snuck into someone’s house through the dog door to get out of the cold. We waited after seeing the post, to make sure nobody claimed her as theirs, and then we went to take her in because the owners of the house she snuck into couldn’t care for her. My brother’s cat Little Bit, a tabby with six toes on each foot, was the only surviving kitten from his litter and he’s gotten huge at only about a year or so. The family that saved him couldn’t keep him because he was too aggressive and they had small children. They asked if we could take him, but had every intention to put him down if we couldn’t because they couldn’t find anyone else and our area doesn’t have a pound or shelter. My cat, a tabby named Loki, is overweight with a messed up leg and can barely run more than a few paces before his leg gives out. We came home one night, it was dark and storming, and our barn cats were on the porch watching us, but I could hear meowing from across the road in front of our house. Loki was a kitten, tiny and barely a few months old. Someone threw him out the window of a moving vehicle across from our house and they clipped his shoulder. This pinched a nerve in his shoulder causing an extension in his wrist. One of my barn cats, who absolutely hates rain, would not stop pestering me until I heard the meowing. I grabbed a flashlight and found him soaked in the grass. It took him almost a week of constantly being with me and taking meds before he would eat or drink anything on his own. The only way he would drink during that week was licking water droplets off my finger because he had vision problems. If I wasn’t in his sight, he would start crying and looking for me to the extent that I slept on the floor. I was told that he might not make it if he didn’t start eating, but he did and he got healthy. He still can’t run properly, sometimes his leg just gives out at random, he is terrified by the sound of vehicles or lawnmowers, along with new people, and he still wants my attention when he’s not sleeping.
We’ve had Gypsy for five years, Little Bit for about a year, Loki for a year and half, and my puppy for just over a year. All of them have their own issues, all were in need of a home, even if we had to buy the dog, and all of them are a part of the family from the day we took them until the day they die. I didn’t know everything I should’ve known when I chose a German Shepherd, but I knew how to care for her and I knew how big she’d get.
My point, even if you don’t know a breed, if you adopt a pet and it gets bigger than you thought it would, you chose to take in that pet, built a bond with it, don’t just throw it away because it was a runt, because you didn’t take the time to teach it how to be gentle with children, or because it was more work than you thought it’d be. If you get a pet, through rescue, adoption, or purchasing be prepared to care for it even if it’s completely different from what you expected. If you can’t commit enough to care for an animal even if it presents challenges you didn’t expect, then you shouldn’t be getting a pet. Little Bit was tiny and aggressive only because he played rougher than he realized and the reaction was equally aggressive if not more so. When we took him in, it only took a few days for him to become gentle when he played and the only time he uses his claws to play are with strings. My dog proved to take a bit more work and effort to properly care for compared to the other breeds I’d had before, but I adjusted to make sure she got what she needed to stay healthy and happy.
If you can take on a pet, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances, then that’s great! If you know for a fact that unforeseen circumstances will make it impossible for you, then you shouldn’t do it because that’s how animals end up forming bonds with owners and then getting left in ditches, put down, or handed over to shelters and pounds. Animals have feelings, it’s been scientifically and behaviorally proven multiple times, so don’t think leaving them after forming a bond won’t break their little animal hearts. Please think before you get a pet so other people don’t have to take in your pet knowing they had a home and an owner they loved that couldn’t keep them.

Driving
I just got my liscense earlier this year, in May. I live in the countryside and have yet to drive in a city or on an interstate. Today, I made a run from my college campus to get Taco Bell, cuz healthy food is stupid, and the city my college is in is very big and has a large population. First time driving in a city with more than 2-3 thousand people and it was alone, with less than a year of experience, on a very busy morning, with lots of traffic.
Good thing - i didnt panic, its good learning experience, i got food.
Con - my mother is going to press me to drive in bigger cities because we're moving and I'll be attending college in a city with a population of over 150,000.
Yay, leaving a town of 400 people, leaving a campus in a city of a few thousand, and going to over a hundred thousand. -_-
