I have a certain soft spot for particular characters like Klonoa because they’re so magically mysterious and out there and I love that about them! This series deserves the love it gets honestly!

Here’s a bunch of sketches I made awhile back and even some bonus old sketches of when I was trying to find my footing drawing these characters.

Won’t be the last time I draw these guys, but please enjoy for now!

Low Poly Bulborb :-) I wanted to try to go for a classic DS style for this one. The texture is 32x32; funny enough, after triangulation, there are exactly 420 triangles present on this model (compare to 1134 in Pikmin).

Any ideas on this poor sweet darling I scooped out of my garage in Western Montana? She appeared to be having some difficulties (spinning/walking in circles, struggling to grip surfaces, buzzing her wings but unable to take off, moving her hind legs like she was attempting to clean something off her abdomen). I moved her to a flower bush so she’d be able to fuel up and hopefully sort herself out.

Aw poor lil fella. Perhaps on her way out, they don't tend to live terribly long. Or maybe just exhausted and hungry. Hope the flowers revved her up and she was fine! Anyhoo I am genuinely terrible at IDing bees. MAYBE some kind of mining bee? Idk 75% of bees look the same to me :)
