If They Were Actually an Item Headcanons pt. 1

Everseer once tried to put his arm around Psycwave’s shoulder but in the end couldn’t go through with it. Psycwave thought it was cute and appreciated the gesture.

Psycwave was once asked if she used her thought control powers on Everseer to make him do things with her since everyone “ knows he’s a weirdo who doesn’t like to touch people.” She proceeded to make the asker punch themselves in the face- that was far different than making her male classmates ask her out in High School and it went against her morals. She would never do such a thing- she liked their relationship the way it was.

Psycwave was the one who made the first move asking Everseer to her place for dinner. She spent the whole day obsessively cleaning her apartment, while it wasn’t perfect because you can’t get rid of 100% of all germs Everseer was touched she went through all the trouble.

Everseer loves to make Psycwave smile. He’s constantly doing little things, sometimes big things, to make up for the fact that they don’t exactly have a normal relationship.

Psycwave doesn’t care that they don’t express their affection for each other in normal ways she’s just happy they have a romantic understanding with each other.

I’m having feelings about the possibility of a romantic relationship between Psycwave and Everseer- not a physical one just because of Everseer’s issues but a romantic understanding between the two of them. 

Maybe it’s because I’m Ace and those sort of relationships appeal to me so freaking much but I can see them being really cute together and my brain doesn’t want to let it go.

Psycwave & Gazerbeam & Everseer & Dark Days for the Phantasmics

There is a lot of bad blood between them due to Gazerbeam’s former position on The Phantasmics, however as Priscilla and Simon the two supers have had some very nice interactions and as long as things don’t veer towards their identities as heroes you could almost call them friends.

Psycwave has used her thought control on both Gazerbeam and Everseer when their disagreements got too heated. She was always playing the level headed one and stopping things before someone could do something regrettable. For the most part Macroburst and Plasmabolt were never really involved in the conflicts but it was still a very toxic time for entirety of The Phantasmics.

Gazerbeam didn’t leave the Phantasmics- he was kicked out by Psychwave and Everseer. This is not the story that anyone knows because it was agreed by all parties to say that Gazerbeam left due to his and Everseer’s differences. They choose to do it like this because Gazerbeam was a good hero in his own right, he was just bad at being a part of a team and they didn’t want his reputation as a hero tarnished by just how bad he was at it.

Prissy couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the mention of Gazerbeam.

“I still can’t believe they shoved him on to you two. That man wouldn’t know the meaning of being on a team if it came up and bit him in-” 

Psycwave cleared her throat, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks- it was common knowledge that Gazerbeam and Everseer never saw eye to eye- no pun intended- but just how bad it had gotten at some points was not so common knowledge. Prissy didn’t use her abilities on her teem mates, at least not on purpose, but when Everseer and Gazerbeam really got into it she was there to make them stop. It wasn’t a very good time with Gazerbeam on the Phantasmics.

“Sorry, it must be difficult and on top of everything else...” Prissy reached out to put a comforting hand on Apogee's shoulder but pulled back at the last second- thinking about the past had her a bit upset and Priscilla didn’t want to accidentally foresee anything about her friend, it was a bit rude and an invasion of privacy. Then a thought struck her... “Phylange and Gazerbeam functioning together- I mean their personalities alone... how are you dealing with that? Like keeping yourself from launching them off the side of a building dealing with it?”

She nodded sympathetically. “Well my offer still stands, if you ever need someone to talk to I’m always a willing ear.” 

“We were, we just got back we picked up some interesting flying over Ubesteckian- Everseer and I felt it was best to go through the right channels instead of just going off and trying to investigate.” Prissy consciously avoided using words associated with her and Everseer’s psychic abilities- it was easier for everyone especially if Frozone was around. “I’ve been fine, been seriously considering starting back officially practicing psychiatry- I just have this gut feeling that things are… I’m sorry it’s not important. So, I did mean to ask before we left but never found the time- what’s going on with your team?”

❝ thanks that really means a lot. ❞  apogee herself wasn’t always the greatest with feelings and talking about them. half the time she either said TOO MUCH and people started to get uncomfortable, or she bottled it up to try and forget about it. 

betsy was interested in hearing about her fellow super’s gut feeling. she cared about what it was psycwave was thinking about, or had sensed possibly. apogee tended to trust what her friend thought. however she wasn’t going to PRESS on the subject even further, not now at least. 

with the talk of her team, apogee shrugged and rolled her eyes. ❝ who knows what’s going on anymore. GAZERBEAM doesn’t give direction well, always takes credit for everything. which of course isn’t sitting right with phylange. yet we all just SMILE and pretend like nothing’s wrong because that’s what the public expects of us. ❞
