Honestly? I first encountered it as a side pairing to a FrUK fanfic. I thought "Oh god, that would never happen", then as the fic went on I thought the pair was funny in a crack ship kinda way, but I still didn't really see it. Then, I came across Promised to Me by Daughter Of The Revolution, and from there I was hooked.

That, and the fact that deep down, Russia and America have very similar natures to their personalities. Their contrasts are caused by their differing histories. If they were put in each other's places, I dare say that Russia would be more like America, and vice versa.

Why did you start shipping Russia and America?

Human!Mystery!AU where Kat, Ivan and Nat move to this old (but habitable) house that was rumored to have housed a serial killer long ago but the rumor was not proven true nor false before eventually dying out. Nat meets a mysterious man called Alfred in her backyard staring at the sky.

They became friends and eventually fell for each other but never revealed their feelings.

One day, Alfred has to leave. Natalya got mad at him when he didn’t say why and told him to leave and never come back.

But Nat doesn’t realize that Alfred has been a ghost after all this time until one day Alfred never appeared in the backyard again after her siblings asked why is she talking to herself everyday and then finding a hidden photo album of the usual, cheery-looking Alfred and a news article about a certain Alfred F. Jones being found dead (presumably murdered) in his room and an obituary with the date stating September 21, 1939 and then Natalya realizes that that day is September 21, 2009 and that the funeral date was Alfred’s.

She suddenly realized how Alfred acted as if he’s in the 1930’s and those cryptic messages he’s been telling her and felt guilty for pushing him away without any explanation when he was about to leave even if she shouldn’t be since he was just an apparition.

She felt an eerie presence surround her afterwards but shrugged it off.

Nobody knows how Natalya was murdered a ten years later in the same day, same way and the same spot as Alfred did 70 years ago.

Kat and Ivan eventually moved away to move on from Natalya’s death.

The deaths in the house still occur. It forever remains a mystery as to why it happens.

4 years later, though, Natalya’s killer, the son of Alfred’s murderer, was captured.

Natalya and Alfred meet in person for the first time some 50-70 years later but does not remember whatever happened in their past lives. They met each other in the same way they first did and had gotten married and had two children.

I don't know why no one had drawn a crossover between April and Andy from Parks and Recreation and Alfred and Natalya.I mean they have too many similarities, it's kinda weird and awesome at the same time, could you do one? ps: sorry if it's too hard or if the request bother you

By the way, in England there’s stuff like an island where fairies live, a resident directory for ghosts, and even the London tower, famous for being a tourist area, is a “ghost spot”. Ghosts, fairies– sorcery and England have a relationship that can’t be separated even if they tried.(*´∀`*)

I just had a thought.

What if instead of Italy, the story was based on England? England in Japanese is Iggirisu. This show would be all about England’s history and maybe have his brothers Scottland, Northern Ireland, and Wales (instead of Romano). Chibitalia would be Chibirisu. Instead of focusing on Italy and his Hetare characterization, it would be about England’s characterization of a Tsundere. 

And it shall be called…Iggiritsun.
