I’m sure you’ve seen this trend of mainly cis women posting what they look like without cosmetic work done in response to the rise of plastic surgery and facial filler becoming more of a norm. Everyone who has participated in this trend has gotten utterly ripped apart and bullied in the comments.
This was the top comment and like.. what are you talking about? Have we forgotten what real people look like?
#tbh I think one of the biggest factors contributing to this phenomenon is that people are fully delusional about how they look#the majority of the time when you see a comment like “I'm 27 and look younger than you”#you go to their profile and immediately see that they do not in fact look younger 😂😂😂#insecure people keep themselves sane by convincing themselves that they are hotter than/skinnier than/more youthful than others#but viewing people in such a reductive way means you will never accurately see yourself or others#which means the majority of these people are mid like the rest of us and embarassingly unaware of it kfhdhhdhshsh
