no bc i want kniesy to win the hobey soo bad!! but i lowkey feel like if minny doesn't make it to the frozen four then he won't be a top 3 finalist (even though he should be). like you said, i think he pretty mature considering he's like what, 20 years old? i remember when he got a 5 min penalty against ohio state (along with logan cooley) that he literally apologized to all of the guys in the locker room. then he kind of used that to fuel himself to get some goals back. also, when you consider the fact that he has 7 GAME WINNERS, all against top 15 teams. i think that shows that he has a lot of poise as a player as well. something just rubs me the wrong way about adam fantilli... maybe it is the fact that i think he is very immature (granted he is like 18)... idk there is just something about him that i don't like (but lowkey that is the same for logan cooley though... like i think they are both just immature in terms of attitude at times, not necessarily play)

It takes maturity to be able to admit you were wrong. And to take responsibility for your actions. And that’s not something we see a lot in hockey. Especially recently.

I understand what you're saying about Knies and as a leafs fan...I can't wait to see that trabslate to the nhl for him....but it's also importabt to note that adam is still young and will have time to hopefull mature some more.

Which is exactly why I think knies should win the hobey. He does have his moments where his temper gets out of hand, but he shows remorse and admits he was wrong and admits he’s working on it (he talked about this in an article in the athletic).

it was tactless of alex young to butt end someone with his stick when they were already losing. Any team would have done what Michigan did. It's a form of retaliation.

Tbh I stopped watching after the 7th goal so I didn’t see what happened. I completely understand the frustration of any player losing that badly. You don’t want to be absolutely embarrassed in the 1st round. That just sucks…

and Fantilli absolutely deserves the hobey. He's predicted to go second overall in a historic draft class and his stats are amazing especially for a freshman

My only issue with him is how he treats opposing players. It has been noted that he isn’t the nicest or best sport. And maybe im biased towards Knies because I believe he has the maturity, skill, and on and off ice qualities a hobey winner possesses.

also, its still so upsetting how much the ncaa officials f'd up the bracket... like michigan is the #3 overall seed and is going to get to play penn state compared to minny having to play ST. CLOUD.
