A piece I did for the wonderful Deerdotjpg who wanted some Resisty art. Such a shame we only got to see these lovable losers once.

These were the initial sketches. But in the end, I decided against making Lard Nar look too cool and giving the piece a funnier vibe.

The progress of the piece. The lighting in my room is just always a pain so pardon the first piece looks outright YELLOW.

I’ve decided to continue this  because i don’t have enough of their prom

More super basic outfit references for myself for that fantasy au thing I had been messing with. Left side are the more casual/adventuring outfits and right side is for the Royal stuff

Dib and Gaz are the Prince and Princess of this lil kingdom (so yes, Membrane is the king lol)

The basic idea for this au is that Dib is still sort of a clone- but with magic. To make sure Membrane had the perfect heir to the kingdom, he used stolen magic from the Irkens to create Dib from himself. This is a huge secret since magic is taboo / believed to be fake

20 years later the magic starts to show up in Dib with weird side effects. Only Gaz knows about this, and neither of them know Dib is a magic-clone. They meet Zim when he gets exiled to the human “non-magic” realm and sees humans using magic stolen from the Irkens.

Zim wants to use Dib as his ticket back home by returning the stolen magic, and Dib wants to use Zim to prove to everyone magic and Irkens are real and he’s not just a freak with weird unexplainable powers

Anyway I have a lot more for this but I don’t want to write a giant thing here so you’ll probably see more of this sprinkled between the other stuff I’m working on lol
