I was going to play just an idle clicker game to pass the time, but when I clicked on the website, which was labeled as the idle game, it opened a completely different game. Intrigued, and terrified, I played through the entire game fully blind, having never heard of the game or any idea what I was getting myself into. The game was, as I discovered after I finished it, "Flesh, Blood and Concrete." It was quite a beautiful game (although I was terrified through most of it because I had no idea what was going to happen)! I managed to get the true ending on my first run through! But I'll definitely have to replay it to get the other ending/s. Props to the developer, the game was truly amazing, and I really enjoyed it

SCARY MARLOWE MY BELOVED <<<33333. Idk what it is about Beth's characters but omg I love all of them ;0;0;0;0;, anyway, here is my take on songs that remind me so much of Scary omg!1!
OK FIRST, all of 'Chase Petra' s songs fit Scary so well. CONTRACTUAL????? RELIABLE NARRATOR??? NATURE VS NURTURE???!?!??!?!!! I could go on!! But holy heck they all fit her so well. I spend hours imagining animatics and such to them XD
ALSO!!! Alot of 'Mel Bryant and the Mercy Makers' songs fit Scary really well as well!! TOOTH FAIRY (GRIN AND BEAR IT)??? OMG??? The lyrics "I thought the world was such a let down, but I'm the one with no upper body strength, and I lack the will to keep anyone at arms length, But I'll keep on holding and squeezing until my muscles are sore" are literally describing early/mid season Scary!! Like??????? Actually crazy how well they suit.

The trip should have been as easy one. The deep sea creatures that usually plagued the water were last seen far to the west, creating a sense of peace among the crew that resonated in happy chattering and laughing as they did their jobs. Even the oldest of the few, the ones with no teeth and missing limbs, could be seen on deck, advising the younger of the crew on how to properly tie a knot or spot the signs of an approaching kraken. The last time the captain had seen this was far back when she was just a foundling. She smiled, a cautious relief washing over her as they sailed to the east.
Everyone in the crew knew what to do if sirens approached the boat. They had been over the protocol enough times for the captain to memorise the instructions. Use the pin that lays against your chest on the necklace to stab your palm as soon as you catch sight of a siren. Firmly place the earbuds that lay beside the pin in your ears, blocking all noise. And finally, help your comrades, making sure that they don't make it to the depths below the boat.
So why was it that everything had gone so wrong?
The captain watched the crew with a soft smile, neglecting to make sure that everyone was actually doing their own job. Perhaps, if she had, she may have noticed that the only person in the Crow's Nest was a young lad. Just 6 or 7 years of age, plenty old enough to look out for land or the larger of the beasts. But for sirens? No, they needed a keen eye. One that notices the strange rocks that appear on the horizon, seemingly empty but oddly comforting to look it. One who would notice that they didn't want to break eye contact with the rocks, and that, when they did, the ship was veering toward the strange formation. And one who would quick as a whistle, alert the crew of the upcoming danger.
The captain looked up from the deck as a soft hum filled the air. It was comforting, reminding her of her previous captain, the one who would sneak her an extra orange slice on the bad days. The ones where she felt like letting the sea swallow her. Where she would hide in the dark, her scrappy hair getting caught in her snot and slobber as she pleaded with the ocean gods to return her mother to her. Where the captain would pick her up, gentle as the breeze, and carry the young child to her hammock, sneaking the orange slice into her palm as she turned away.
As the thought of the oranges wafted through her mind, she absentmindedly looked away from her crew, her eyes finding their place on the strange formation of rocks in the water. Something was there, she could sense it. But it felt so...warm. She sniffled as the memories of the past seemed to wash in on her as they raced across toward the rock formations. She wasn't sure how, but she knew that if they got to the rocks, she would get her mother back. She could just sense it. The way that they seemed to be calling for her, taking over her mind and not allowing her any room to think of anything else.
She was certain that her mother was there, and she wasn't going to let anything stop her from getting there. She would swim there if she had to, which the captain found to be the better option as she started walking toward the ships edge. If she swam to the rocks, she could stay with her mother forever, not having to worry about the crew or keeping anyone else safe but herself and her mother. She could simply stay on the rocks, just her and her mother. Together.
She placed a boot on the side of the boat, her eyes never leaving the shape of the rocks. Around her she could vaguely hear yelling and splashing, her crew no doubt, but she realised now that she had no time for them. They would be fine without her. She needed to get to her mother.
She felt a sharp pain in her arm just as she was reaching to jump over the edge. The sting reaching into the depths of her mind and pulling, straining, to bring her back. Another prick, this time in her thigh, and the quick movements of hands as they fumbled around the pouch that lay against her neck. Through the thoughts of her mother, the pain brought a sense of uneasiness, allowing her to take her eyesight back from the rocks and back onto the boat. As she looked across the deck, she witnessed absolute bedlam. Her crewmates were yelling and pulling on eachother, with the vast majority simply jumping off the side of the boat into the water. She watched with confusion as one crewmate yelled at another, pointing to ropes and handcuffs that laid linked to the masts. Just beside her, one crewmate drags another off the side of the boat, quickly wrapping the large ropes around the others waist, restraining them in place. In their ears, thick wads of wool.
Just as she begun thinking of the reason for this chaos, thick earbuds were placed into her ears, and suddenly it all came back into focus. Sirens.
But already it was too late. More than half of the crew had leaped into the water, the sea around the boat turning a brilliant shade of scarlet where they landed. The rest of the crew were putting earbuds in whoever they could, pins stabbing into anywhere that would hurt the other enough to make its way through the sound of the Sirens.

Going insane. I finished the 2nd season and all I can think is of the songs/artists that best fit the daddies?????? and the kidads, so here she be, my lil rant about it all. Glen first cause I have much to say about my poor child jesus
GLEN CLOSE IS "THE NIGHT WE MET" BY LORD HURON SO HELP ME. It fits so well and it makes me go insane whenever I hear it. I'm begging, someone who can animate please make an animatic with Glen/Morgan/Nicky because by god it works so well. "I had all and then most of you, some and now none of you"????????? Literally describing his relationship with everyone holy heck??????
I sorta pin Glen as most Lord Huron songs, but "The night we met" just works so well for him and I've been thinking this since I listened to his prison arc. Also "Meet me in the woods" works incredibly well, "I took a little journey to the unknown, and I've come back changed I can feel it in my bones" Is so incredibly glen coded, I will die on this hill.
ALso "Amen" by Amber Run, specifically when Morgan dies ;0;;;;.
I'm so unwell about Glen, I love him so much omg
