i've installed mizuno's 16 and i immediately made a beautiful chicken coop on quackity's server.

so i want to talk about that taiga village i found.. it’s feckin weird y’all. like i’m talking borderline creepy pasta levels of weird. ok so..

when i first arrived, i saw iron armor (shirt and hat) on some stands outside near a blast furnace. so i thought “sweet free armor!” and yoinked it. now here’s where it gets odd. right after i put it on this blacksmith comes BOLTING out of nowhere, and i can’t make this up y’all, he straight up chases me. like you know how villagers walk towards you? this guy ran towards me and wouldn’t stop. like he knew i stole that. he knew and he was out for revenge. he finally did stop running at me once i got far enough from the village but oh man i legit thought maybe the ai was changed for the 1.14 update and he might have actually been angry or something?? idk man, my heart was pounding fghgfh

so i come back to the village (steering clear of the blacksmith) then i see children. three of them. and they’re all running around. ok so villager children play, their ai does that. but this? they were running around me and didn’t stop until i followed them. upon which they ran off. i stopped following. they came back, i followed again and they ran off again but i kept following this time. they led me to a small cave. in which a zombie villager was in. it attacked me and the children ran off, leaving me to fight this monster. like they straight up led me to a mob that kills players. like?? rude. (tbf it wasn’t a very hard fight..i play on easy lmao)

so after i killed the zombie farmer i go searching the houses. i come across one way in the back. in it, two villagers. one of which is straight up trapped inside a rectangular box of trapdoors. the other is standing nearby staring him down. so i free the trapped one and he immediately runs to the door. only to be blocked by the other villager, who also ran to the door after i freed the trapped one. so the previously trapped guy is pushing the other one, trying to get past while the kidnapper/serial torturer?? is trying to push him back in the house. i push them both out of the way and the trapped fella takes off sprinting back to the main area of the village. i lost sight of where the other one went..

and finally, i go to the very, veryyy end of the village after seeing smoke from a firepit down below the village. off the short cliff is a single lone house. near it, a single, lone nitwit. he’s totally isolated (though can climb the cliff to get up to the village). why he’s there? hell if i know. but i’m sticking around, i built my house near him and i’m going to find out wtf is up with this village full of sadistic squidwards.
