there are these reoccurring series of thoughts that go through my head when I'm alone, and it's usually me fucking up throughout my "career" (i hate that word!) because of my lack of experience.

I hate remembering them i hate being reminded of the shame i felt during those times ! logically i should be forgiving of myself because of the situation i was in when those times happened but they still come back to me full force like i want to go back and have an apology tour like im sorry i literally taught myself illustration while i was steeping and marinating in 20 years of severe abuse while managing a "career" which means i wasn't functioning the same way everyone was like??? good grief

does anyone else have these kinds of anxieties? like don't u just wanna go back and slap yourself in the head

You gotta remember man we’re multicellular organisms. Rn? There are little guys that power your brain (your brain cells they’re pretty cute like lil eels) and when they get distressed when processing news or information that is alarming or saddening and it can affect all the little guys all over your body just Doing They Jobs and so remember the Little Guys in your head jus doing theirs too and remember to be kind to them and give them lots of sleep and water and grace periods! Your lil guys are super talented and loved btw!

it's kinda of strange being an adult like

what do you call this thing where personally you're doing fine ...but then there's news about your estranged family where there's just a barrage of bad news (i.e. getting severely sick, deaths, etc) happening consecutively plus like the world is literally eating itself alive

like...what are you supposed to feel about all this? is being an adult really just...trudging forward and just living your life with all of this happening in the background? I have no power beyond the choices I can make at the moment and sometimes it feels like it does nothing at all
