cute ways to remind your boyfriend that your birthday is coming up and you would like to spend your special day with him by exploiting your local watering hole’s insane “get your age in free [food item] on your birthday” promotion:
leitmotifs never get old to me like holy shit dude there’s this melody that corresponds to this one guy and if you hear the melody it means the guy is there. holy shit. and sometimes it refers to ideas too not just guys. has anyone heard about this
thinking about a fic idea where it's a high tech Earth C far enough into the future that the gods, as indefinite as they could have been, are all gone through mystical ascension means or otherwise. civilization has mostly forgotten their names save for like some devoted consort temples. some crisis arises and a random earthling, an OC, is lead to one of these temples by mysterious means of the Breeze leading them. robed salamanders who haven't seen a visitor in centuries welcome them, believing their arrival to be fate, and lead them inside a construct with the Breath symbol on it. they find a pipe organ and playing a particular song causes June Egbert to rematerialize from the wind she ascended into- a much different person now, i'm not exactly sure how yet but a backstory is working itself out in my mind. the endgoal of summoning her would be to stop the crisis facing the planet as one of the Gods, but with a lot of interaction and development on the way. learning what happened to everyone and maybe bringing them all back for a reunion. i haven't written a fic in years and my ao3 is full of dust and dead brain cells but. i'll just save it for now
