tl;dr: I'm an unemployed transfem immigrant, who was recently fucked over by the government. My benefits have been cut early with no warning. I am in between permits, making job hunting MUCH harder, and meaning that I may be ordered to leave any day.

There are two goals I have for raising funds in the meantime; the first is for September's essentials: Rent, bills, food, meds (~1350$CAD) The second is my permanent residence fee (1205$CAD), which I'll have to pay as soon as documents arrive, around two months time.

I'd appreciate any help with all this. I'm at the last steps of my immigration and I'd love to finally stop having the sword of Damocles creaking ominously above my head. It'd mean the world for me Thank you ; -;

still somewhat new to using tumblr and by far my favorite interaction here is whenever i see someone reblog one of my completely non-horny microfics with the #nsfw tag. I always click their name to investigate, only to quickly learn that they have a raging, life-ruiningly niche fetish for space warfare or ghost werewolves or whatever that has gone unfed for 5 years until my post graced their dash like an angel's kiss

space battles shouldn't be star wars style dogfights. they should be like 16th century naval engagements on steroids -- huge starships circling each other in the void for days and weeks. the distances are so vast that you'll never even lay eyes on the enemy ship; they're just a blip on a radar, a variable in the firing solution calculations. battles aren't short bursts of incredible violence, they're weeks of slow-burning tension as soldiers get up and go about their duties, acutely aware that they could be blown to smithereens at any time if the negotiations happening lightyears away go awry. the minute the captain gets a go order, the missiles fly, and you will never even see the face of the person that kills you.

gambling with angels is easy. they can't lie but they have addictive personalities; it's easy to clean them out then make them divulge secrets about the business of heaven to call your bets. my dad used to say "hey, watch this" and summon angels to play poker with him with a sort of bone flute he inherited from his grandpa, and they'd be holding horseshit and still want to call him. i'm talking "raise on a two pair" level bad at it, but they couldn't stop trying to win. my dad taught me all the secret names of God before i was out of grade school and i would use them to curse my enemies so they came down with leprosy. you can cure leprosy these days but it still sucks, especially for a child. but they had it coming for pissing me off
