Totally a Harry move. Darlin is more than happy to compliment Harry but she’d more like to when they are alone since Darlin is way more reserved than Harry. The best scenario that’ll happen is when two would be in the Three Broomsticks with Ron and Hermione and Harry would just give her small like compliments here and there followed by that little smile. Darlin would react by giving him a smile before laughing awkwardly, but is thinking “I truly adore him.”

4. Who is more likely to tell the other a pun and what is the other’s reaction to the pun?

Darlin will be the jokester for sure! She’d probably make a joke about mermaids that’ll probably be Harry asking, “How do you communicate with a mermaid?” and Darlin saying “Drop her a line.” And this’ll be followed by Harry giving her a odd look and Darlin smiling mischievously before the two trying their best not to laugh in front of the other.

Darlin for sure! She loves she outdoors and had always loved watching nature in its course. She would set up small picnic under a massive tree and will just stare at the stars with Harry. Darlin Gray is such a misunderstood baby!

She LOVES her parents and dreadfully misses them. She even named her owl after them (Deacon + Belvina = Beacon) When she came back 50 years later all she cared about was her parents because her time in Hogwarts was really shitty anyway. Darlin gets homesick really easy so it was hard for her to cope with everything. But the best part about her is how she is able to overcome her biggest challenges and adapt to her surroundings. This is one of the biggest reasons why she was sorted into Slytherin.

Darlin still has a lot to learn about herself still. And the biggest impact she has when coming to figuring who she is is Aurology. Even though there were walls in front of her dreams and desires, Darlin broke the walls down and kept on chasing her ambitions. Total Slytherin move. And the first thing people would notice about Darlin is how quiet she is. Much like Blaise Zabini, Darlin keeps to herself and is distant towards her housemates because it has been this way since her first year. She would usually spend her days either in the library or inside her dormitory as she listened to Daphne speak for ages.

Daphne is Darlin’s best friend. Besides her parents, Daphne is one of the people she’ll miss the most. Not only has the blonde girl has been with Darlin since day one, no matter what she was going through, no matter all the crazy stunts she pulled, but Daphne also loves Darlin and is very understanding when it comes to Darlin. When Darlin wasn't in a good place with herself, Daphne tried to see where she came from and tried her absolute best to understand. And Darlin was the FIRST person Daphne has come out to when she started to develop feelings for a certain red-headed girl. They swear that they were twins in their past life.

Darlin very much loves the outdoors. Although she has PTSD, it caused her to distance herself from nature. Before, she loved the water, she loved the cool breeze that blew her hair back, and she LOVED to read a book under a tree. Slowly when she started to overcome her fears of the outdoors, Darlin only felt comfortable being outside the castle when she was with either Harry or Daphne. And when she started to ease up, she began to go by herself and she never felt so great.

Darlin and Arabella are probably one of the most important relationships in the whole book???? Like Arabella took this fragile scared girl into her home and tried her best to cheer her up and keeping her head busy by taking her to muggle areas like the carnival and drive-ins. And Arabella was the first person Darlin quickly felt comfortable with, which says something about her. Like Darlin loves Arabella. Arabella is her home, the one she wanted back again. Even though it'll take her a while to realize it.

What I love about Darlin and Harry’s relationship was the beginning. Like Darlin was SO bothered by his presence when they first met but as soon as he whipped out the Walkman she was like ”hm, not bad?” And it was very aggravating how Harry always called Darlin by her full name like Darlin knows he was trying to be nice and make her feel important, but he HAD to relax. And at first, they were barely friends even though Darlin said they were, she literally just said it so he can stop with all the formal words. But throughout the end of the fourth year, Darlin had finally decided that Harry was, in fact, one of her best friends after realizing all he's done for her. Then comes the fifth year when they've gotten angsty with each other because of Harry’s confusing feelings towards Cho and Darlin. Then Darlin having trouble dealing with her feelings towards him while trying to cope with the five hundred other issues she had. And when they suddenly stopped talking they've missed each other SO MUCH. Like there wasn't a day where they hadn't. But their stubbornness and fears got the best of them. At least they finally decided to say ”you know what, I do like you.” Let's just see that'll happen next.
