Excellent news! Helseth’s whore legs are now canon thanks to my boyfriend’s input!

I have personally never played Daggerfall, but I have been working on a series of drawings of Helseth and I wanted to include his appearance in that game is well. Honestly, my hyperfixation with this character is kind of convincing me I should play it. Hopefully I can post the full work very soon.

No, I don’t think Helseth raised a goblin army in Mournhold’s sewers

You know of all the things I’ve seen the characters in Tribunal accuse Helseth of doing, I believe every single one of them EXCEPT the whole raising a goblin army under the sewers. This is an idea that is purported by Feldris Hler and probably by extension Almalexia herself. If anything, I believe that Almalexia was the one behind this and I believe this for a few reasons.

I felt motivated to make this post because I’ve seen a couple people on here bring up Helseth’s goblin army. Then I started thinking about how he would be motivated to do something like that and thus came to the conclusion that he probably didn’t. This might be a little unhinged as I’m defending such an awful little man LMAO but here me out:

1: Feldris Hler said that the King needs to raise an army and suggested that he’s raising “a rather different kind of army”. This makes absolutely no sense as Helseth already has his royal guard. He’s smart enough to have hand picked every one of them. Some of them he has known since they were children including Tiennius Deitlan and Karrod. It would be stupid of him to hire some Altmer trainers to raise unscrupulous goblins into an organized military force. Like there’s no way that could feasibly pan out well.

2: it just straight up doesn’t fit in with his other actions. Everything else he’s been accused of involves very underhanded tactics such as assassinations and blackmail. He’s a completely different flavor of crazy than Almalexia.

3: Remember when those fabricants attacked Mournhold and Almalexia admitted she was the one that summoned them from the Clockwork City? If she raised an army of robot monsters to instill fear in her own citizens then that’s not a long shot from raising a goblin army under the sewers for that same purpose. Perhaps it was a half baked idea that was going so well and she had Feldris tell the Nerevarine to go do something about it.

4: it just aligns with Almalexia’s motives better. Everything she has done was made to make the citizens fear her and cling to her more in the midst of her insecurity over her waning powers. While it may be easy for her to blame Helseth as he is obviously fucking crazy, he is more concerned about expanding his political influence and unlike Almalexia, doesn’t care all that much of what people think of him.

Mazoga might be a little rude to the Hero of Kvatch, but it turns out she’s just not very good at communicating what she wants (A real autistic girly moment). Evidently, she actually quite noble in her intentions.

Hlaalu Helseth is such an underrated character in this franchise I can’t help but notice. There’s also something repulsively sexy about him too. Like I can’t be the only person that thinks he’s hot??? It must be the goatee and the lips lmao.

The way he’s so underhanded yet shameless at the same time. He kind of leans in to the whole poisoning his enemies thing but not too much if it benefits him. It’s honestly so fun.

I’d love to see more art and fanfiction about him, but I may as well be the change I’d like to see. I’d love to make some more art of him with my new copic markers, I just need some more practice as I’m very unwieldy with this new medium.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen fan art of Neminda. I might be the first. She is one of the highest ranking non-dunmer in House Redoran and is a major quest giver in that faction.

Urmash heard a bunch or rustling noises in the floor beneath her. So she grabbed her lantern and her trusty daedric long sword to go investigate. She really hopes it’s not another Dark Brotherhood assassin. She just took one out only two weeks ago! Hopefully it’s just a rat. Plus, she’s in her pajamas. She would be so embarrassed if the assassin had to see her like this.

Hahaha ❤️. Funnily enough, Kamelot’s music is often the inspiration for my Elder Scrolls fan art especially their The Black Halo album. There’s something about that album that every time I listen to it, I have these vivid compositions of Elder Scrolls characters that consume my mind 😂
