impure regrssion warning

qu^ckity getting to be a crybaby wit t<hno, being so anxious or tired he just tears up and then he gets frustrated he cantt hold it in an starts cryin. the first time he felels frosen in anticipation of how t<chno will make fun of him but techno just kneels, holds qu^ckty’s hands an asks what’s wrojgg. t<chno is so carijg with cryin specifically, he always wraps qu^ckity up so he feels safe and just keeps on telling him it’ll be okie and that he’s safee. t<chno has lotsa blankets but qu^ckity always prefers the softness of t<chbo’s cape, and how close he is (he loves when t<chbo holds him and covers his face in ksisies, especially how t<chno is so big and can keep him in place when he wiggles and pouts that t<chno’s fur is tickling him). eventuallt qu^ckiry feels safe enuogh to go to techno and curl up close to him, or sokettimes do grabby hands when he wans t be picked up. qu^ckirt tends to wear himself out from all the enotions and has naptime or bedtime, and t<chno is always there to pet his hair and tell him how proud he is of qu^ckity for letting out his meotions and how good of a baby heis

I don't know if I've posted about this before buuut just in case I haven't I wanted to share the idea

So I had this idea a long while ago about having your caregiver back a “nini tape” for anytime that you wouldn't be together to say nini in person (night shift, long distance, live separately, trip, or otherwise)

Where they could just record their voice telling you nini, they could sing you a song or tell you a story, they could say how much they love you and wish they could be with you, play you music or tuck you, your pets, and your stuffies in💖 they could talk about making sure your brushed your teefs or your hair, got in your jammies and are nice and cozy warm 🐻

He's the type to thrift toys and do DIY dollar store activities but that doesn't make them any less fun and in fact it's a tad more meaningful as he had to put more work into setting these things up

Does not like to be called dad/Dada/papa or nicknames that give the impression he's your dad

Does like to be called your older brother, big bear, papa bear, Mike, Mikey

Nicknames he'd have for you: Bubba, buddy, princess/prince/princette, troublemaker, animal related nickname like puppy/ducky/kitty

Oftentimes your playtime would be the TV on with a movie from Blockbuster playing. Either you're seated on his lap, or playing with toys on the floor. Mike, meanwhile, is napping. You tease him for his loud snoring

He'd take you to the park. His favorite thing to do there is play in the sandbox with you. Afterwards, he'd take you to Sparky's to say hi to Ness and get your favorite order.

There's a dedicated VHS section to your little shows like Dora, Blues Clues, Wiggles, etc.

When it grew colder, he'd help put on your coat, mittens, and hat. There would be plenty of Snowball fights (Mike loses, of course) and you'd proudly build a snowman in front of the house while Mike makes you a mug of hot cocoa

He'd never be ashamed if you needed padding, a paci, a sippy cup, or any other little gear. He'd actively ask if you needed it, and would keep everything in a box in the closet, never too far away.

regression spurts

a common misconception about regressors is that we are regressed 24/7 and that we need constant care, i think this comes from a lot of non-regressors stumbling upon agere accounts/memes and not quite getting the inside jokes.

from what I have found, regression comes in spurts, at least for me, i can go weeks without even thinking of regression and then just all of the sudden get the need to regress and have little regression windows throughout a week or so and then the cycle repeats.

OR I regress in veeeery small daily windows (like, when im sleepy lol)

all I want to say is that, if you're an outsider who stumbled upon our little community, whether that be on your own or because of a friend of yours is part of it, this is to clear the misconception

many regressors work, attend school, have families and a life outside of regression, we couldn't do that if we were small 24/7, social media isn't real life and if someone has a regression account where they only post agere content it doesn't mean they're always regressed, it means they likely go on their account only while regressed (for example; cooking accounts don't mean the person behind it cooks 24/7, unless that's their job ofc, it means they're creating content based in one special aspect of their life)

so yeah, just clearing that up lol
