Things to do when you're tiny and feeling...

Angry
✎Don't bottle it up! If you need to, go somewhere you can be alone to let out your feelings
✫Scream into a pillow or stuffie
✫Hit something soft (I promise your stuffies will forgive you too)
✫Let yourself cry
✫Draw with crayons (you can push down hard with them) it doesn't have to be pretty
✫Drink something cold like water or juice
✫Eat something hard/crunchy like cookies or carrots or chew on a teether
✫If you can, write down what made you angry and destroy the paper afterwards

Sad
✫Soothe yourself with a binkie
✫Hug as many stuffies as you need really close to your chest
✫Let yourself cry, if you can
✫Listen to lullabies
✫Eat something that makes you happy/comforts you (sweet or spicy is best)
✫Drink something warm like angel milk, hot cocoa or tea
✫Swaddle yourself in soft blankets
✫Watch your favorite show

Lonely
✫Gather your stuffies and dolls around you
✫Talk to them even if they don't answer back. You can feel what they want to tell you in your chest
✫Cuddle them really close
✫Write to someone you miss, if you can
✫Draw yourself with those you love/want to be with
✫Imagine those you miss being with you and daydream about what you could do together
✫Watch your favorite show or youtuber to feel less alone

Anxious
✫Your binkie may help soothe you
✫Take deep breaths
✫Feel the textures around you to ground yourself
✫Rock back and forth to relief tension and soothe yourself
✫Hold your stuffies close
✫Put on music and just move around however you feel like!
✫If you have a reason, think about all the ways it could NOT go wrong too! Let yourself hope for the best, even if you're scared to get hurt /gentle

✫Hug your stuffie and let yourself cry
✫If you can, shower or bathe. If needed, you can keep your clothes on until you feel better
✫Vent your feelings through drawing. This could be scribbles or any thoughts of revenge you may have for example
✫Drink something really cold
✫Hide under blankets and scoot into a corner to feel more safe
✫Watch a comfort show to get your mind on other things
✫Try to put names to what you can physically feel. If you feel something you cannot see, then it can't hurt you. Focus instead on feeling the things you CAN see like a soft blanket or hoodie

Make sure..:
- [ ] they have their comfort objects if they can sleep with them! (including comfort stuffie and blankie!)
- [ ] they have an air diffuser or fan on if they need it, or anything scented if it helps them sleep such as a wax melt!
- [ ] if they are noise sensitive they either have noise on such as the tv on or if they can only sleep without noise turn anything that may make noise off if you can
- [ ] if it helps them the nightlight is on !
- [ ] they have taken any meds they may need to take
- [ ] brushed their teeth
- [ ] gotten in jammies!
- [ ] tried (or did) to go to the bathroom
- [ ] their sippy is full of water or juice! (no caffeine!)
- [ ] they’re all ready for tomorrow if they need to have anything ready (such as an outfit to go where they need to, or their backpack and / or lunch packed for tomorrow etc)
How to help a kiddo at bedtime!:
- [ ] read a bedtime story! (if you don’t live together you could call and then read it!)
- [ ] tuck them in !
- [ ] cuddles!!
- [ ] make sure you say I love you !!
- [ ] sing lullabies!
- [ ] give them warm milk!

helping your little regress! 💫
for caregivers!!
✐ read to your little!
✐ ask them what colour things are!
✐ ask them what noises certain animals make! even if it's just birds outside, their stuffies, or pets!
✐ do their hair! maybe braids? maybe just brushing it for them!
✐ make them their favourite little snacks! cutting things up into small pieces should help!
✐ cuddle! of course this works <3
✐ help them change! give them a cute and comfy outfit! maybe think of the outfit together!
✐ help them do smaller tasks like reach for things, fasten jackets, tie their laces and make things like f**d! (o, o)
✐ hold their hand wherever you go! even if you're just walking to another room!
✐ get their baby gear! bottles, pacis, blankies and stuffies!
✐ play with them!
✐ refer to yourself as any petnames they use for you (e.g. 'moma wants to know if you want cupcakes, prince!')
✐ put their favourite shows and movies on!
✐ build a blanket fort with them to watch tv in!

Regression activity ideas (1/6):
Coloring! U can print out coloring sheets, buy coloring books or draw something yourself to color in.
Blanky time! Make yourself cozy and comfy with your fav blanky and even cuddle it.
Paci time! U can just have it in your mouth and relax or u can decorate it yourself or draw a design.
Reward yourself! A blindbox toy, Candy, a nice bath,…! U deserve it!
Snacks! When u feel a lil hungry u can get your fav tiny snack.
Cooking and baking! Your fav meal, a cake, cookies or whatever u feel like. Be careful tho.
Drinks! Strawberry milk, hot chocolate or anything u like. Stay hydrated!
Sticker chart! When u have a to-do list u can reward yourself with stickers.
Jump rope! A lil sporty but still fun (hula hoop is nice too).
Swimming! Water stuff is always fun. U can even have a water bomb fight.
The beach! U can find pretty seashells and maybe even rocks and play with sand or go swimming.
Read a book! U can sit outside in the sun and look at a picture book or a comfy tiny kiddo story.
Color with chalk! Outside is fuuun and ucan sit on the floor and make beautiful things.
Bath time! Everyone likes bubble bath u can include a tiny skincare or beauty routine.
