I genuinely think Ragatha is a good person. While she has flaws, she doesn't mean to be rude. I don't see her as the manipulative woman, just a people's pleaser. In her perspective, all she sees is Jax being a perk, that's it. That's why she's worried for Pomni when she interacts with him more. As a genuine friend, she doesn't want Pomni to have a bad influence, even though they're all adults.

But the thing is, Ragatha, while being nice, doesn't understand that there's more to a person. She doesn't understand why Pomni would stay with Jax. Gosh, I love flawed characters, especially when they're relatable.

You don’t realize how many artists have same face syndrome until you try to find an artist who can portray ethnic features. Many of them either lack the skill or the motivation, or maybe the motivation to develop the skill. But sorry I don’t want you giving my Black OC a pointy little nose and that same mouth you drew on that white girl over there.

Next time you find an artist you want to commission, look and see if they have any Black or brown people in their portfolio, and as you search, maybe fruitlessly, all the faces begin to look exactly alike and it starts to feel like you’re looking at someone’s incredibly well executed dollmaker.

People who can draw a wider range of features than just “generic white fantasy girl #9” are stronger artists and more worthy of your cash. (Unless the same face Pixar thing is what you’re going for, then by all means, proceed with mediocrity.) And I don’t mean “draws the same face and gives it dark skin and curly hair” I’m talking big noses, wide noses, flat noses. Monolids and thick lips and textured hair and PEOPLE WHO’S UNDERTONE IS NOT PINK FOR GOD’S SAKE WOULD YOU STOP MAKING PEOPLE PINK?

Anyway, find quality artists by looking for faces of color.

If you ever find bald-faced hornets building a nest on your property, here are some things to consider before you get rid of them (assuming you don’t have a fatal bee allergy or anything) :

They’re great pollinators as well as key predators, highly beneficial to the environment all around.

They’re known for being very relaxed and easy to get along with, as long as you give the nest even a few feet of personal space.

They aren’t generally curious about you or your food and drinks like smaller yellowjackets are and tend to mind their own business.

By winter, they all permanently abandon the nest never to use it again and THAT NEST IS AN EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER NATURAL COLLECTOR’S ITEM YOU CAN SELL FOR A HUNDRED BUCKS OR MORE ON EBAY OR ETSY YOU FOOL JUST LET THE GALS BUILD YOU A HUNDRED BUCKS

Zack MacLeod Pinsent dresses as a Regency gentleman every day, saying that the clothing is a “huge confidence builder”.

He ceremoniously burned his last pair of jeans when he was 14-years-old and hasn’t looked back since.

I get really confused when americans, when talking about universal health care are like ‘yeh but it’s not free sweaty :) :) you have to pay it through taxes :) so gotcha!!’

and I’m like ….???? That’s the whole point??? Everyone pays their fair share so that no one has to be turned away because they don’t have insurance??? I was actually about to renew my twitch sub to him that day. Safe to say I didn’t lol. Idk man. I really wish he was just super clueless but there’s no way that he isn’t and especially not now since he and his team/friends have blocked and banned people for talking about it. I really wish this wasn’t the hill they’ve chosen to die on lol. This sucks. Been watching him for years and now it’s like 🤷‍♀️
