BACK TO TRADING PUNCHES!

For THOSE FOLKS that know the TOTALITY - the "REAL REALITY" of MY STORY - Today has been a "RED-LETTER DAY" in my Boxing Life.

I found a friend (5'11 250) that wanted to "Learn How To Box", and we met Today for his First Lesson. Started out teaching him how to throw the LEFT JAB, the BLOCKS of the LEFT JAB, and the COUNTER PUNCHES. We started out with 18 oz Gloves, which I've NEVER used before. However, he agreed that next week we will go to the use of the 14 oz Gloves, which is the Normal Size of teaching "Newbie's".

He and I both scored Facial Punches and Body Shots. After the workout was completed, he said that he knew that he would be sore tomorrow, especially in regards to the BODY BOXING ENDURANCE ROUNDS that we did.

It was GREAT, and FELT AWESOME to have the GLOVES ON AGAIN after probably 10 or so Years! Man, how much I have missed being able to TRADE PUNCHES! He said that he had REALLY ENJOYED the Workout (which is what I NEEDED to hear) and we are scheduled to meet NEXT WEEK! I am downright ECSTATIC!

Even being an "Old Dude" (HUGE GRIN), - I can still GIVE & TAKE PUNCHES! Just wanted to share My DAY of JOY with all of My BLOG FOLKS!
