Kinn and Porsche all the way. Fic is set in the canon series and occurs after the end of the show.

Explicit?

Yes. Very.

Why should you read this fic?

It's not long which is delightful. Although listen, if the author wrote a long fic I would be there in an instant. Porsche is struggling as the head of the minor family and needs his Dom to help him. Kinn realizes he hasn't seen the warning signs that Porsche is not doing well and wants to take care of his boy.

Final Thoughts:

This is one of those that I love not only because it is explicit but because the leads adore each other. For me, when the relationship shines thru it makes whatever the setting is richer and more plausible. I can easily suspend any disbelief and immerse myself. This one does it. I think what also impresses me is the economy of the writing. In less than 9000 words the author creates an impactful scene that is true to the characters we already love. Highly recommend!!!

Who is the ship?

Kinn and Porsche are the leads, but all the players are here. Kim and Chay and even a bit of Vegas and Pete.

Explicit?

Yes. It definitely is. But take note of the glacial burn tag, this fic means it. It doesn't happen right out of the gate. It's a deliciously slow build and I am here for it.

Why should you read this fic?

Porsche has been trafficked by his uncle at an early stage. They meet up in the first chapter and there is something about Porsche that Kinn can't fully look away from and can't leave behind.

Porsche is a shadow of the man we have all come to know but there are these flashes of the personality that come thru, right from the beginning.

Kinn is the mafia boss we know and love, trying to live by his own moral code yet drawn to this strange man and unable to understand why.

Red Flags:

As alluded to above, this fic involves human trafficking. While there are no graphic depictions of what happened during Porsches time being sold, it is alluded to and remarks about what happened appear. It is important that you read all the tags for this fic to be sure it is safe for you.

Final Thoughts:

This fic feels personal to me. As each chapter came out I was invested. Theories about what the next chapter would bring sparked much conversation. I am drawn to fics where the relationship is built, piece by piece. Where the connection between the two lead characters feels true to life. The writing is smart and easy to follow. This one is delightful to immerse yourself in and just enjoy it as it spools out.

I also admire the writer. This was a difficult subject to take on. It wasn't easy or simple to undertake. Their ability to tackle difficult subject matters and handle complex plot development is fantastic.

I'm biased, but it's a top fic of the KP fandom for me. One I have returned to many times to reread in full or in part. I just flat enjoy it and would highly recommend it to others.

Who is the ship? Kim and Chay

Explicit? Nope. It's not at all. But the connection between Kim and Chay is amazing. Even if you usually read the explicit stuff this one is worth your time.

Why should you read this fic?

Kim is Wik, our favorite pop star by day but going on missions for his dad by night. He meets Chay (in a dark alley no less) and Chay recognizes his idol. Kim it turns out has already been stalking Chay a bit online and poof, sparks fly.

Chay is drawn into the world of his idol and the Mafia as the events of the show happen. Kim finds someone who can see him clearly and still adore him.

The chapters flow easily from one to the other. The author clearly is delighted to be writing and their enjoyment comes thru.

Final thoughts:

For me, this is a top tier fic of the KP fandom. It's one of my go-tos when I need some comfort and solace and it never lets me down. If you haven't read much KimChay or limit yourself to KinnPorsche or other explicit material you are missing out to skip this one. It's very well written and is deliciously long so you get to immerse yourself fully into the world.

so the first screenshot is trying to look this up on tiktok normally, "donald trump rigged election" and it says that search violates community guidelines.

the second screenshot is looking up the same exact thing, but with a (australian) vpn on. canadian vpn didn't fix it fyi.

THIS is exactly the type of censorship to be looking out for on tiktok. this actually is crazy.

We still don't know, but I'm telling you right now: if it doesn't go our way, log off. Like, fully. For as long as possible. It's not even called yet and the doomsday defeatism is already running rampant. On one hand, that's natural. You have to hit the mat before you can get up. On the other hand, nobody is meant to absorb a public outcry like that and if Republicans want one single thing in the wake of victory it's for the country to convince itself that we're all done for. That's how they discourage voting in the first place.
