It wasn't like him to engage in 'fun' activities, unless they pertained to his job and protecting the kingdom, but Hollyberry insisted and he wasn't going to try and have a battle of who could be more stubborn with her. She was, after all, one of the few who could insist her way into dragging him into whatever event she wanted him to be in. The king simply stood at by a nearby table, a drink in hand as deep purple eyes scanned the vicinity. He was always on alert, making sure nothing sinister was going to happen that would jeopardize the cookie's merriment. It was the least he could contribute, since engaging in such activities really wasn't his style. Glancing over, he caught sight of a dear friend - Pure Vanilla Cookie. It seemed he'd come over to get some punch. He cast his fellow a warm smile before something green caught his glance. Right above them was a mistletoe. Wasn't there some sort of custom about kissing beneath one of these strange plants? It seemed the other cookie noticed as well. This just became awkward. Should he ignore it? It was obvious that they both noticed it. He could always pretend he didn't know of such...affectionate customs, but he had the feeling he'd be informed if he played it off. He couldn't just...stay quiet, but he certainly wished he could. Submerged deep in his thoughts, Dark Cacao didn't really hear what his friend was saying, but noticed him pointing up to the plant. What to say? Was this something Pure Vanilla...wanted? He wouldn't dare do such a thing without permission...and in public of all places! Affectionate acts like that were usually reserved for private affairs in his culture!

"I've heard of these...customs regarding this plant. However, I don't hold the belief that you should simply kiss someone without their permission."
