the  ceremony  held  for  luke  and  han  was  more  than  just  a  celebration  of  their  heroics ,     though  it  was  certainly  that  and  a  definite  rebel  morale  booster ;     it  was  a  funeral ,     and  a  moment  to  remember  those  on  alderaan  who  had  perished ,     including  bail  and  breha.

leia  doesn’t  often  give  herself  time  to  grieve  or  miss  her  parents ,     but  allowed  that  moment ,     quick  as  it  was  to  come  and  quick  as  it  had  to  pass.          for  one  moment ,     she  wanted  to  honor  them ,     to  miss  them  and  to  mourn  them     ━━━━     and  to  find  strength  in  their  memories.
