Okay so there seems to be some debate over the gender of Dragona Joestar and whether they’re a trans woman or femboy, but I wanna propose the idea that they might actually be Māhū, since we are in Hawaii and they’re definitely gnc.

I’m not very knowledgeable on this stuff, so if anyone who knows more than I do can add some info and thoughts in the notes, I’d very much appreciate it.

Nara's not the only one easily bored or distracted. but Fugo knew Nara was really looking forward to making the mini airbaloon, so he worked on to get the wick to stay in one place without burning the entire thing down, rubbing it in with wax so it would burn slower but wouldn't get too heavy.

He took the bag over to the furnace to check if it was airtight enough as it was and would catch enough hot air.

Since the air was cold out, it flew quite high, drifting off towards the forest. Fugo followed after it on a slightly speeded pace, but once they met the edge of the forest, he had to be careful to not touch any of the trees and they lost sight of it.

At the end he setted for Goldlocks, it was not magical or fsncy as the others, but probabily he could manage to read that.

As he read his cheeks were a bit flustred, expecially when he would have to stop and re read something, yeah he sounded a bit more like a school child having to read in class than an almost adult

very carefully, he used Mage Hand to pat Nara's hair so he wouldn't wake up, and lifted his head with it. He switched out Narancia's pillow for his own, stealing Narancia's pillow like that.

he sat down on the ground, hugging the pillow while looking at him, using another Mage Hand to pat the boy's hair, before his eyes fell shut for another nap too.

Well, Fugo had confidence he could find enough stories to tell him until he got bored, hungry, or the night would come.

He browsed further in the book, coming across the story of the little match girl. He frowned. Better not tell that one to Narancia... it was sad and didn't have a very happy ending. He'd rather not read a story about a girl having to survive on the streets either.

instead, he picked a rather funny story about how Santa complained that winter was way too cold and stormy, he looked fat because he had to wear a bunch of sweaters and couldn't go down the chimney properly. the hearth wasn't completely cooled down yet, so he burned his feet.

He was so fed up with it all that he decided that next year, they'd celebrate Christmas in summer.

he had shaved his beard, since he didn't need it to protect against the cold and wore his summer cloths.

so going down the chimney was very easy and the hearth hadn't been lit.

but wherever he went, the family was either on holidays, the children were still awake, or people even called the police because they thought he was a burglar. And no one had any Christmas decoration or Christmas trees out. his reindeers were being plagued with flies and mosquito's too.

Santa was so upset that he said he'd never celebrate Christmas again.

but he soon felt guilty, knowing how sad it would make the children if he wouldn't come by.

so when winter came, he braved himself and went out anyway.

and when he arrived at the houses, everything was decorated beautifully, with different colors and candles and cards that read merry Christmas and best wishes. the stars were out in the night and the church bells announced Christmas.

One of the children had left him a piece of cake and a glass of wine. Santa was all happy, thinking that Christmas is wonderful after all.

He was so cute... He still couldn't believe this person was actually here.

he could watch the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed evenly while sleeping. his dark lashes stroking the skin of his cheeks. a small hint of freckles that should be more evident when summer arrives.

disheveled fine hair that glistered in the light like a dull onyx.

if he'd lean in just a bit closer, could he feel the warmth radiating from his skin? could he feel how soft he is to the touch? would his eyes open and look only at him?

The closest to a crush Fugo ever felt was toward Mela, when he was little. But this was nothing like it at all.

It was like electricity pulsed throughout his body. He was so aware of everything. his throat felt dry, his eyes stung. his palms felt warm and sweaty and his fingertops felt like needles were piercing through his skin. It felt like someone was pinching his heart tight to the point it could spat appart.

Is this feeling part of the curse?

For the first time in 3 years, he wanted to touch something. Someone. Is that why it hurted?

This feeling was addicting..... and poisonous... The curse felt like it was stronger than ever before.

He grit his teeth and needed every ounce of will power to back away. He covered his face. Somehow, he felt exhausted...

Staggering a bit, he turned away from Narancia's sleeping form and faltered towards the door, hurrying his way to the kitchen.

Fugo smiled and made himself comfortable in one of the arm chairs, opening the book and reading in a clear voice.

it was a story about a man who had caught a pollar bear and wanted to offer it to the king as a christmas gift. on his journey to the palace, he wanted to spend the night somewhere. but the farm where he asked for shelter had it's inhabitants terrified. every year on christmas eve, trolls would come down the hills and raid their house.

the man still decided to stay in the house, together with his bear. and in the night at 12 am, the trolls came, eating all the food, destroying the furniture and wracking loud havoc.

some of the trolls were convinced that what was sleeping on the ground was the farmer's cat and they started bullying it. but it was actually the pollar bear who went wild and chased all of the trolls out.

the next day when the man continued his journey, he could hear calling in the hills that the other trolls should never go to that farm, because they have this huge feral cat.

"Ok so the story its named Snow White and Rose Red! But its not that snow white, its another one. but there is two bears here too...Anyway!"

"ok...So, once upon a time there were two sisters, one was blonde and shy, she liked to read and bake, the other was brunette and outspoken and she loved to play outside the house. They lived alone with their mom. one cold winter night two big bears knock at the door, asking the girls if they could rest there for the winter since they didnt found a place to hy..hibernate..?

so the girls and their mom took  care of the bears for the whole winter and became friends with them!

as spring started, the bear leaved, telling the to watch out for the evil dwarf. and indeed they found the dwarf some days later, his beard stuck in a tree, the girls cutted it to free him, but the dwarf started to attack the girls! But then the bears saved them! and umh, turned into a princes somehow...? because the dwarf cursed them...?

A-Anyway they got married and lived happy ever after!"

Fugo had a soft smile on his face as he took one of the books once more and browsed it.

He found one and started reading a story about a snow queen who had send hail to bewitch a boy. the hail had pierced his heart and had frozen it, making him treat his childhood friend badly. right after that, he disapeared.

despite the childhood friend having been treated badly, she set out to safe him.

she experienced a bunch of adventures, like an old lady inviting her in her house but wouldn't let her go and made her lose her memories. or her meeting a prince who resembled her friend and who gave her a carriage to ride in and continue her search. and the carriage got attacked by bandits and the girl was captured. but the daughter of the bandit leader liked her and helped her escape.

when she told the daughter what had happened, she could tell her the snow queen must have put a spell on her, and that her friend hadn't been mean to her because he disliked her.

the daughter gave her a reindeer to ride further and she eventually found the snow queen's castle.

the snow queen was bullying the boy and making him clean her ice palace, which slowly made him freeze all over.

the girl found him in the end, but the boy was cold to her and didn't recognize her. still, she refused to let go of him and cried warm tears. some of the tears fell on his heart and thawed the hail that had frozen it.

together, they escaped the castle on the reindeer's back and went home

"So, once upon a time a little girl; she lived with her evil step mother and sister in a poor little house; the step mother would make the poor girl do all the house work, but she was really kind and never complained.

One of the tasks she had to do was go in the forest to the river and wash all her sister and step mom clothes.

One day as she was doing this, she found a poor naked old lady trying to wash a dress covered in tick mud.

The girl offered to help her, and she scrubbed, scrubbed and scrubbed for hours, till no mud was left!

The old lady thanked her and wore the dress, turning into a young beautiful fairy!

She smiled at the girl and to thank her she casted a spell on her! Everytime she laughed, diamonds would fall from her mouth, and everytime she was sad, she would cry pearls.

The girl happily got back home, leaving a trail of diamons on her way back.

When she got home she said 'mom! A fairy blessed me!'

But the woman was jealous, so she yelled at her daughter 'go in the forest and find a fairy and get blessed too'

In the forest the step sister found the old lady too, but when the ladt asked for help, the girl, who was super mean and lazy was like 'old hag cant you see im waiting for a fairy?!'

The old lady got mad, because fairies are really petty, and turned into her real form, scaring the girl and then cursed her, than everytime she would hichup toads and frogs would jump off her mouth!

The mean step sister got back home crying, and so she hickhupped, leaving a trail of frog behind.

Meanwhile, the king, that was in the forest to hunt, found a trail of diamonds, and following it she found the kind little girl, suprised of her gift and since his wife, the queen, never had babies, decided to adopt her, so she lived happy in her castel, not having to do hard work anymore"

Fugo lay back for a bit on the bed, glancing over at the other. There was little 'we' to it... was Narancia annoyed when he was being negative like that? Fugo had sort of figured he would. He'd want to be more positive, he hated this attitude of himself. but even far before these years, negativity had always been the norm. He didn't really know how to change it.... he didn't want Narancia to dislike him over anything. Not over what kind of monster the curse made him, but even less so for things aside from that....

He waved after him, feeling some butterflies over the blown kiss.

"...." he hadn't exactly intended to make Narancia leave with an excuse, but he did feel rather uptight on going back to that room.

The first night Narancia had been here, it had actually been surprisingly easy to watch along with his bird familiar, and he had done so a few more times (o-of course, with no side intentions or anything)

But going there by himself was still a bit-..... sigh.

He entered the room and locked the door tightly, hiding the key in a gap of the cabin he knew. His night version didn't have the dexterity to get to it.

He sat on the bed. it all felt... less scary than he had imagined.

And when he lay his head on the pillow, he knew why: it smelled like Narancia.

Almost feeling intoxicated, he dragged the pillow close against him.

How.... did he know this scent so well? He hadn't-- hadn't been this close to him.. right?

Fugo kept telling himself he had dreamed that night up. in reality, he knew it was real.. But it was too good to be true. And if there was even the slightest of chance that he must have imagined it afterall, he didn't wanted to end up embarrassing Narancia...

But... this scent... god, he loved it.....

Was this really for the best? It felt like a good thing to do, but it somehow also felt wrong..... What if Narancia really liked that room? He didn't want him to feel like he couldn't be there. But like this, he'd have access to all of the rest of the castle as he likes.

And it would also limit the damage he'd cause night in night out...

He went up to the old room of his sibling, checking if it's up to standards to let his dear Narancia stay there.

Th  e room was a tad gaudier than Fugo's had been, making his brother's personality shine through. Though Fugo hadn't had a lot of saying in the decor of his own room either

but most of all, it looked out over the dome.

Nara started to wash the veggies, mostly tomatos, onions and carrots, and then cut em, scooping away all the seeds.

For once he was happy that his old house was so tiny that he would spend his days in the kitchen with his mom.

"Can you pass me another pot? Better making the sauce first and then the pasta"
