Okay, but this scene was really interesting! It could be interpreted as a "if looks could kill* expression. But as a trans guy this is exactly what I do when people apologize profusely or bring up my gender. It's a dissociation that comes about by the fact that my entire existence is something controversial. I can't just live my life because my identity is a big deal when I don't want it to be. When people apologize profusely or even apologize it feels either like they're doing it so they don't feel like a shitty person or you're left wondering if they're actually sorry. This isn't to say that people shouldn't apologize, but all I need is a "sorry, it won't happen again." I don't say anything though because I can't speak for all queer people. I can just stand there, dissociate and wish my existence wasn't such a big deal

I want to preface this by saying Princess Bride is in my top five movies of all time. I absolutely adore it!!

But for a moment I was tempted to argue in favor of the Lord of the Rings. For obvious reasons that trilogy is an absolute masterpiece.

I realized though, that The Lord of the Rings (while widely loved) is not for everyone. The Princess Bride is very universally loved across enjoyers of all genres.

So in short I agree....best movie ever made.
