You know when someone is passionate about the things they really love, when they can talk about things so freely, when they can be in deep thoughts because they want their words to be organized, eloquent , and understood, and not taken into something else entirely but just the way they really want it to get taken.
I've been watching the Zach Song interview with Louis for FITF again, it's really something you know.
The way you know how hands-on he is in every little detail of that album, to the songwriting, the melody, to the people he worked with, to what's going to be in the album, and to every little goddamned detail.
One thing too that I'll always take to heart, is the way he radiates the words he's saying when he's talking about us, about the support, that he's not just saying that to gain our support, but because he really is thankful.
I'm always so grateful, that I get to know him as an artist, as a person (if not personally obviously) but someone that I know cares about his fans wholeheartedly and doesn't see me, us, as cash cows. He cares about the quality he produces, he just doesn't go and do whatever he thinks will sell (like gee obvs he should and for sure cares about these things) but still, he gets out of his limb to make sure that things are GOOD QUALITY.
Even God, bare minimum for others, but not a lot of people would go and thank their fans on social media to connect to them and make sure they know that they are seen, and appreciated. To say that we're spoiled, well, it's the truth.
Not to speak about how his songs really are my go to every time I need some lifting up.
To be honest when he released FITF I was like, can this really top WALLS for me? And holy shit, of course he does. And I'm not even surprised.
I just love him, so much.
It'll always be Louis, and it'll be forever him.

To celebrate it being the last show of FITFWT, what have your favourite moments been of the tour? 💕💕
it has been so fun enjoying with all of you :) and i have loved seeing louis blossom more on stage.
highlights for me were cuyahoga falls (i will NEVER forget the meltdown/collective system shock when he walked out via the livestream. for real steam was pouring out of my keyboard) and then also all the post-show interactions and the nuggets of actual louis-ness we occasionally get ("not so sure, babe!" / "i can hear ya know, my ears f*ing work! / "might even have myself a little cry" / "i'm on live?!")

#because for the first time in a long time#Louis has experienced wholesome love
how'd you mean?
When I saw the Tomlinson clan leaving from London to meet up with Louis in Los Angeles, I was moved by the fact that the family is now in a second generation, and the cousins are steadily growing up together and building bonds, and that this is an active decision they had to make to support each other.
A family with close ties between cousins is a very different one from a family without close ties. These are decisions that parents must make and execute.
I was also struck by the observation of how happy and carefree Louis looked all through the run of summer festivals.
Before, “success” and “love” seemed to come with all sorts of conditions, other people’s expectations and rules: labels, critics, managers, partners, bandmates, fans.
It seems that Louis chose not to “hear those voices anymore,” maybe giving up some relationships or commercial success that way, but allowing others in.
His happiness is an indication that Louis feels loved. The love may come from different people, but Louis is content. Romantic? Maybe. But it feels different from any previous time.
Louis’ recurrent phrase— “let life in”— implies openness, curiosity, and courage. He’s happy and confident enough to allow himself new and different experiences. Louis tends to take the lead on experience (he has the money and the inclination), and as Theo Hutchcraft once said, once Louis makes up his mind, the execution is straightforward. For a long time, Louis was unable to make up his mind on many, many aspects of his life. He’s ready now.

Let life in: It's a stark contrast to the before, LT0 if you will, when life happened to Louis - ruthlessly, relentlessly, constantly. It is what it is.
Walls and Faith in the Future were about perseverance. Life had already happened, and it was him catching up.
Now, the after is lighter. Life isn't filled with burdens to bear, but with unexplored adventures and experiences, and loads of exciting unknowns. You know you're in control again when you get to decide when to let a little chaos in, and that must be so satisfying. Ready for whatever may come your way.
