ⓘ the ocean carries maki's silent wish.
ㅤthe morning sky slowly turns orange and gold as a calm breeze moves across the sea. waves roll gently toward the shore of a quiet maldives beach. he stands near the edge, holding a surfboard. his body is still stiff from practice, hair damp, but there's a small, steady smile on his face.
he's fallen many times since sunrise—into the water, onto the sand—but he keeps trying. each time he gets up, he glances at the sky, as if thinking of someone far away, maybe imagining her smile, the pride in her eyes when he finally gets it right.
at noon, he rests for a while with his feet in the water and a simple meal beside him. even then, his eyes never leave the waves. he goes back to the sea and manages to stand a little longer this time. not perfect, but enough to make him smile again.
“i want to show this to her.”
as the day fades, the sky softens to orange. the wind grows stronger, the sea colder, but he doesn't stop. he's still out there, falling, standing, learning. "i never gave up."
later that night, with skin warm from the sun and body sore from the waves, he sits by the desk in his room, the balcony door slightly open. the soft, steady sound of the sea drifts in like a fading memory. opening his laptop, words begin to flow slowly but surely. the letter tells of everything—the short moments standing on the board, the practice, and the hope that she will see how far he's come. counting down the days until she's back, each word carries his longing.
ⓘ even the sun pales beside my sunshine's glow.
when the message is done, he reads it again, then hits send with a quiet, tired smile on his face. somewhere between the ocean breeze and the faint sound of waves, his heart feels a little lighter. even in the distance, she still feels close.

ⓘ Sabitha with Maki at the amusement park.
Night settled softly over the amusement park as the lights began to fade, leaving behind a quiet warmth in the cooling air. The Ferris wheel continued its slow, steady rotation, carrying them gently to its highest point.
Inside the glass cabin, he sat beside Sabitha, the city sprawling beneath them like a sea of scattered lights. His focus stayed on the rhythm of his own heartbeat.
He took a deep breath and carefully began to speak, arranging words he had kept hidden for so long. He told her that she was the place he felt safe, the presence that made every day brighter, the one he wanted by his side for all the days to come. His words were deliberate, honest, and full of hope. { click here }
Sabitha met his gaze and held his hand firmly. Then, with quiet sincerity, she shared her own truth. Her response settled in his chest like a gentle flame, warm and reassuring, a confirmation that what he felt was shared.

ⓘ Sabitha's words for JAY!MAKi, 765.
As the Ferris wheel began its descent, he knew something had shifted between them. They stepped out into the cooling night, the park growing silent around them. Time was short, but it didn’t matter.
"We can come back tomorrow. My friend's place means free rides. LOL"
Later, they found rest in a modest hotel nearby. After freshening up, he was the first to fall asleep, while Sabitha lingered awake for a while longer. When he woke, her presence beside him was a quiet comfort.

That night, he slept deeply, his heart was full. Tomorrow marked the start of a new journey, one he was ready to take with Sabitha by his side.

Seven, for a lucky man.
"So, if you’re ever gonna take a chance on me, let it be now..." "I’ve been hurt before, but I’m ready to believe..."
Ternyata, aku salah.
Bersamamu, pandanganku ikut berubah.
Sabitha Ophellia, maukah kamu jadi pacarku?
