I've been in the warrior cats fandom for a couple of years and now I finally made fanart :3c

I started with ravenpaw because he's one of my favorites heh..… anyways these are a bit old now c':

clear sky thoughts-

i love a complex, morally grey character. one of my all time favourites is crowfeather, so getting into dotc i was excited to read about clear sky. the difference is, he gets absolutely no redemption arc or character development. he is just an asshole. i found myself noticing that time and time again he had chances to redeem himself, yet STILL continues to act ruthless and selfish. he has absolutely no insight. He is scolded by his younger sister, brother, son, ex mates, mother, and all the other leaders for his violent and careless behaviour.

now this would be fine if clear sky was labelled as a villain and treated as such, but he’s just not?? these books are aimed at young teenagers, so to have a character act like this with little to no consequences involved is just sending out the wrong message. bro should have absolutely been sent to the dark forest, or at least banished from starclan.
