Any thoughts about Light x Ryuk ship?

It's great! I haven't found that much art or fic of Light being (or trying his dang best to) dom over Ryuk, but the idea of some horrible jackoff like Light just idly toying with Ryuk (who could bite his wiener off anytime) is really fun!

There's also the appeal of them both being vaguely asexual and vaguely aromantic. They're only together canonically by accident. Ryuk finds Light interesting, and Light occasionally likes to use Ryuk. I don't think shinigami have genitals, at least not humanoid ones, and don't generally have humanoid sexual desires. But Light is SO interesting to him, why not play around further in the human world? Meanwhile Light is so clearly uninterested in sex (poor Misa! Actually I have my own weird ideas about Misa x Ryuk (with poor third-wheeled Rem)).

IDK how to really connect them in the sexual sense of the ship. There's def no traditional romance. But I love that Light and Ryuk are just roommates hanging out in a fated yet unimportant relationship! There's a lot of just fun to be had with Ryuk hovering around Light 24/7, and taking up his entire bed :P Plus there's no reason why Ryuk NEEDS Light to feed him apples.. but he really likes it from him :3c
