March 30th is World Bipolar Day! Sunflowers is my new autobio comic about what having bipolar disorder 1 with psychosis is like for me, and what it’s like living with the stigma. This was definitely the scariest, most emotionally-difficult comic I’ve ever made (and the most honest).

As someone who was on the animation team for storytime madlibs Im not angry but we spent alot of time and energy working on this together and we deserved better than we got. pay and credit aside there were mass issues with communication, unprofessional tones sent in emails and in personal dms that made it seem like the team wasnt taking us seriously, feeling isolated in being unable to express our feelings because we were under contractual obligation not to for a long time and just overall bad response times for due dates. Also the people involved have made a Twitter account @StorytimeDisc and are going to be keeping everyone updated on the situation.

Hey I had a few critiques on how you portray the sides, hope you can work on fixing them!

1. Roman is tall, he’s strong and masculine, he’d never wear a skirt becuase hes a prince, not a princess.

2. Virgil is pale and short, though I personally think you should just not draw him at all because I don’t like him.

3. You dont draw Logan nearly enough! He’s my favorite side and I feel like it’d make your blog better if you drew him.

4. Janus is a male. He should have short hair. Also get rid of that bow on his hat, it’s pure black.

5. All of the sides are men. He/him. None of that they it or what ever “crayon” meant on Remus’s

6. Is that acne on Janus? You should give that to Remus instead, Re is the gross side so having acne fits him more than it does Janus.

7. Patton should have blond hair and blue eyes, it fits him better than brown since he’s the innocent one.

8. Stop drawing Dukexiety, Intrulogical is 100x times better!

sanders sides fandom please... please learn how to behave.

i honestly think a lot of yall are way too friendly and “playful” to a guy who doesn’t even know you personally.

i actually made a diagram for the folks out there who probably don’t get it:

please inform yourselves about how parasocial relationships can affect you and for you guys to understand boundaries.

yeah, thomas is a creator i gotta give props for interacting with his fans on a regular but understand that he’s still a dude who legit plays dress-up for 20 to 40 minutes on average for your entertainment. the least you can do is just chill out and stay on your side of the street.

and if you genuinely want to give some advice to someone, anyone on this damn floating stone, you gotta understand that not everyone will comprehend your message in the same manner.

I just had some thoughts on Virgil but he's the oldest side among them and he also was considered the 'Big Brother'.

Patton wondered why Virgil was called 'Kuya' translation: Big Brother, he was the one who raised each one of them, why not 'Dad'?

Patton was on the couch, the youngest among the sides was playing with his phone. Scrolling through countless memes and dog videos. He stumbled upon a post that made his heart - meaning whole being - hurt. He continued to scroll, ignoring the soreness his chest was feeling.

"Hey there, squirt. You okay?" Came a sweet voice from behind the couch. Patton turned around, his hands clenching his chest, a handful of his shirt. "You okay?" The voice repeated.

"I'm fine, Kuya Virge." Patton softly said as Virgil sat beside him. "Just.. aren't you the oldest side, right?"

Virgil nodded, slowly pulling Patton onto his lap. "Yeah, that's right. Why'd you ask?"

Patton sniffed, not even knowing he was beginning to cry. "Are you our dad?"

Silence filled the atmosphere as Patton looked up at Virgil's face. The anxious side didn't show any signs of uncomfortableness or uncertainties. He was staring straight on to a far away wall. Blinking as he gathered his thoughts. Of course, Patton didn't know what Virgil was thinking about and assumed the worst.

"I'm so sorry Kuya! I didn't mean to! Oh– that was so stupid. So-sorry.. Virge? Sorry, I– are you okay?" Patton stumbled out of Virgil's lap and stood in front of the oldest side.

Virgil shrugged, "If you want to call me Dad, Patt, you can. I just.. never thought about it like that."

Patton nodded. Crawling back on to Virgil's lap. Resting his head on to Virgil's chest. The two sides laying on the couch with each other as comfort. The silence, now, was peaceful and definitely wanted.

"I love you Dad.." Patton whispered as he closed his eyes.

Virgil didn't know why but his heart melted hearing the moral side say that. He smiled, "Love you too, Squirt."

Roman and Remus would often argue who Virgil's favorite brother was.

Remus groaned as he raised his morning star, going to bash Roman's head but was stopped by a pale and thin hand. "Remus, what did I tell you about weapons. And hitting Roman?" Virgil crossed his arms. Roman slowly scooted towards Virgil and wrapped his arms around the oldest side, sticking his tongue out, Remus rolled his eyes.

"Not to.."

"And what were you about to do?"

"I was using my weapon.. and almost hit Roman with my morning star." Remus grumbled, bitterly.

Virgil sighed, slowly pulling out of Roman's embrace to hug Remus who melted immediately.

"Why were you about to hit Roman? Did he do something?" Virgil asked, pulling Roman into the hug.

"YES! HE SAID HE WAS YOUR FAVORITE! I know, and this is a fact, that I'm your favorite!" Remus exclaimed shouting directly on to Roman's ear. The prince pushing, breaking the hug.

"NOT TRUE! I'm Virgil's favorite!" Roman shouted back.

Virgil sighed, knowing full well Logan was his favorite.
