He snickered, trying to flex his arm to see if it still hurt too much to move.

“Yeah, yeah, I’ll try... I won’t jump that high of a fence next time, okay?”

The wounds started to sting, but he held back any wincing he could. A few eye twitched appearing here and there but otherwise? Pretty much nothing! He’s a strong boy!

“Well, maybe. You’re darn good at it too. I’ll make sure the wounds aren’t as deep next time.”

“At least shoot for no wounds next time, Satoshii.. Gosh, you’re going to make my hair go grey with worry.” … Harsh words considering she already had white parts and satoshi had old man colour hair-

He spoke like a kid in school after being scolded by the teacher. The sting got another hiss out of him, but he tried to nervously play it off as a small pathetic beatboxing breakdown. Yeah it didn’t work, he looked away with slight embarrassment.  This moment only encouraged him to try harder just so he could impress her with his slight parkour skills. Maybe then she’ll swoon!

He glanced at the situation, a guilty grin growing on his lips as he watched her clean the wounds.

“M’Just a bit rusty is all!”

He did great, Fefe just couldn’t see that FAILURE leads to SUCCESS. She’d know if she truly cared about him. She should be ENCOURAGING HIM to try again! Maybe he’ll get it next time.

The pilot winced and hissed at the pain. Despite that, he still tried to keep a smile on his face. Maybe jumping that fence wasn’t a good idea. Sure he’s a bit rusty on his agility, but he didn’t think he would’ve failed that! Who would’ve thought? Anyways, the wounds on his arm and rib cage were bad, borderline stitch worthy, but he would manage without. So long as he had Fefe to take care of him, nothing would stop him!

“Ouch- Sorry... Yeah, I’ll try harder. Y’know, I imagined this going differently...”
