                 wisdom and virtue pay off, it seems. the processes followed in the fakes’ territory were anything less than savagery. purity and mercy fell into their gravity, warping. even a man with celestial bones does not wander into the wolves den unprepared. surprise paint jack’s features a stark contrast to her playful demeanor previously. the anticipation that he would sense an unsaid catch is denied. savior wrought and twisted by situations, he is far too knowing to be so innocently fooled. ‘ i thought so, ’ tone sharpening like knives, ‘ something tells me i’m about to be pulled into, i dunno, a suicide pact —- and i’m not a super big fan. ’
