i couldn't sleep, so i tried to tire myself out with some au lore

it worked.

ive drawn concepts for a hlvrai x omori au before but none of them ever got actual lore ... until now ... teehee

its not much right now but BASICALLY. "headspace" is the simulation the ai resides in and gordon is, you know, the player. hlvrai shenanigans ensue and gordon really likes playing this little game. that is until shit hits the fan and he gets his ARM CUT OFF.

gordon is deeply traumatized by this event and since he's the only real person in that simulation his like. will. Willpower. is like "wait no this sucks im making it better" and since the ai and simulation are supposed to evolve according to the players actions, wants, and needs, through sheer will bro turned the horrors into whimsy and "headspace" became a lot friendlier

gordons arm was replaced by a minigun but he cant quite remember why. he thinks he just spawned like that

and basically gordon gets really into this simulation now that it's not constantly killing him dead and. pretty much under his control now

he can just chill with these really funny ai guys

it starts becoming his priority over the real world

its pretty much all he does

but Coomer. He Remembers. He doesn't at first but he starts figuring stuff out and the shit gordon repressed is coming back and it makes headspace start tweaking out and yeah you know. the plot of omori.

coomer is the "basil" basically.

benrey would be the "mari" not in the sense of him being dead or super important and dear to gordon but in the sense of. staying behind while the team fights. benrey reason is he cant bother with it gordon reason is he just doesn't like benrey that much but he's too important to get rid of LMAO

so yeah. its a mixture of gordon trying to remember his life before the simulation and trying NOT to remember the fact that the ai guys he likes so much set him up and cost him a limb and are also growing more and more self aware

its really fun

but anyways. sorry if i didn't explain myself too well i am so sleepy. Goodnight everynyan
