Flipping through the family photo album and reminiscing. Our trip to the “Happiest Place on Earth” will always be a treasured memory.

“Our language, our music and our manners are increasingly raucous, self-centred, and offensive, as though beauty and good taste have no real place in our lives. One word is written large on all these ugly things, and that word is ‘me’.”

I'd prefer a study, but I wouldn't complain over this.

Note
When you are involved with a live-action production of one of your works, do you consider either the story in the book or the story on the screen to be *the* canonical version of your story? Or do you think of one as "the book version" and the other as "the screen version"? Or the original an and adaptation? Or none of the above?
I consider the book to be canonical for the book, the screen to be canonical for the screen. It helps that I grew up reading DC Comics in the days before the Crisis on Infinite Earths. I just think of the screen as Earth 1 and the book as Earth 2. They have similarities but each exists in its own reality.
