[TMIT] What's the funniest thing that's ever happened to you?

"Personally I think all the honors and titles and stuff after I sort of quit being a noble and focused on doing what I enjoy while trying to benefit society as a whole is pretty funny. I totally gave up on my goal of being the youngest Archmage in the family and it happened anyway.

Do you hope to move up in the ranks of the Kirin Tor?

"Ah, well, I'm an Archmage now which is recognized by both the Magistry and what's left of the Kirin Tor. I'll admit that I'm not sure there's anywhere else to go from here with the latter... At least, not until they figure out what they're doing. Their seat of power was imploded and the overall plan going forward doesn't seem like it will be anything like what it was.

I think I'm content doing what I can for the Magistry at the moment. If whatever the Kirin Tor becomes wants my assistance, I'm more than happy to help."

That’s Helal to her. They were engaged to be married at one point — arranged, not a love match clearly — but he was just…. Brash and loud and kind of an annoying, loud playboy to her.

But he wasn’t bad to look at! It’s possible she wouldn’t have minded him as much if they met much later in their lives and under completely different circumstances.

She considers her most embarrassing moment to have been every time she had to tell her parents she failed an exam.

Pyraelia was otherwise a great student, but exam anxiety was really difficult for her and she was never up to Cosima’s standard in that regard.

Is Pyraelia a reader of erotica novels? If so, does she have any genres and tropes that she would consider her favourite?

She is! She definitely enjoys romantasy novels, especially those that have an incredibly heroic love interest that sweep the protagonist off their feet. Which is most of them! But sometimes she does read darker or fae fantasy novels. Right now she’s working her way through the @dark-desires-and-daggerwork series, which is a bit outside her usual, but they’re entertaining and engaging!
