today I used the phrase "breasting boobily" in casual real life conversation and everyone was shocked asking how I came up with that and I had to explain it. ive been at the devil's sacrament so long that I forgot he wasn't god

I was inspired by the Nix Mount models in Tamriel Rebuilt and specifically this splash screen mod for Morrowind, and wanted to draw a guy who rides one 'cause it seemed fun. I figure they probably make deliveries or something around the Ashlands and Molag Amur regions since they're more treacherous areas that'd be easier for a lone rider to navigate than a whole cart.

Met him at last. He's very nice and I cant help but smile and think: "Oh, honey."
Started the Nirnroot quest and got *the biggest pit* in my stomach when I was told to go find Sinderion.
Oh, shit. I was not expecting him to be a character. I played Skyrim first I KNOW WHERE HE ENDS UP.
I'm now actively avoiding meeting him because as a time traveler in TES universe it would make me too sad.
((Also peeps were not exaggerating when they said Altmer and Dunmer are out here casually living over 200-300 years.))

Hearing Oblivion NPCs talk about how "the land of the Altmer have banned Imperial goods for some reason" after Skyrim has the same energy as a time traveler hearing: "Huh, that new Kaiser seems to really have it out for Poland."

Everyone under the sun seems to ship their HOK with Martin Septim, but so far the dynamic between Tanith and Martin is as such:
She's a Nord and is about a head taller than him
She could pick him up and throw him if she wanted because her strength is maxed out.
He met her while she was decked out in full Arena gladiator attire.
He's had to deal with her saying absolutely nothing the entire trip to the Priory.
The only time she does say anything to him is when she's drinking.
He's trying not to scream about how she stops every five feet to pick a plant.
They stopped in a random town to rest right before finally reaching Weynon Priory and lo and behold, the town had kidnapped an Argonian girl Tanith met in Chorrol.
Martin stood and watched this deadpan Nord woman slaughter all five of the town's last crazy inhabitants so they couldn't go after her friend (or any other travelers) again.
She's not saying anything about what just happened, and at this point Martin is too afraid to try and ask.
Is it possible to have an anti-ship? XD

Whelp, I just murdered an entire town to rescue an Argonian girl I met in Chorrol so I guess I'm about to have my sleep interrupted by a rat in a hood. :/
#dude wtaf was up with that town#they're very unlucky that the HOK KNEW the chick they kidnapped beforehand

🐥 for the ask game!
((Also answering for @oblivions-dawn))
🐥 - What's your favorite type of scene to write?
Heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh
I love writing scenes that HURT. Moments of tragedy, of loss, and of heartbreak. I love writing heavy emotions and I LOVE exploring how the darkest moments in a characters life shape them emotionally.
Currently, the scene where Elur is confronted with seeing her mother's dead body and coming to realize what's happened to her was the highlight of my current fic. I really went out of my way to write denial and grief in a "show, don't tell" fashion, as I've been guilty of doing in the past.

Merunes Dagon coming in too early for his cue only to realize the player hasn't reached Kvatch yet:
Currently omw to meet Martin in the game. An Oblivion gate apparently spawned WAY too early bevause no one in Skingrad was reacting to that shit. Reloaded the save and it was gone.
WHAT?!

🍄 for the ask game 🍄
From this Writer's Ask Game
🍄 - What's your process for naming your OCs?
This depends on the story I'm writing. If it's a story with original characters set in the modern day, I kinda just name them whatever vibes with them best -- sometimes depending on their cultural background if that's important to them.
For my Elder Scrolls OCs, I tend to base the "vibe" of their name on their race/culture. Of course, it's hard to create a name from scratch so much like many canon TES characters some of the OCs have names that are floating around the real world.
"Elur" is a name/word I found a while ago that does apparently mean "snow" in Basque. The cadence of it fits the TES universe. Her parents, Illradil and Sylvid have names I made from splicing different names together -- but I was sure to give them common canon elven name suffixes (-id and -dil).
Sharir (my head-empty werewolf Khajiit) actually got her name from this song: Sharir - Heyson
