Not gonna de-rail on my previous post about iran, but most fucked up of all was not being able to go to my friend's funeral and to this day it wrecks me when i think about it, but doesn't feel like it felt to process the death of other loved ones, even though i do know people who have died unnatural deaths/died young. Just doesn't feel real and makes me nauseous to think of a missile killing her in her own home at night. I hope she was asleep, but realistically she probably wasn't. I haven't cried or despaired much in all this time, I just get sick thinking about it.

Reading a lot of posts from people who either live in iran or have family there and it's all ringing such eerily familiar bells that it's giving me an unnerving deja-vu. Very heartbreaking, how it's all the same all over again and again and again; no matter where you are on the planet when war breaks out in your home it feels like waking up to find yourself in an another dream and it just doesn't end.

Я умоляю, я стара тьотя, поясніть мені хтось за еті ваші інтернети

> reposts documentary screenshots of some people in luhansk saying how they cheered on the military capture and separatist movement in 2014
> "RT media" logo in corner; documentary also made by said russian state media network that happily hosts neo-nazis, white supremacists and conspiracy theorists that promote the idea of russia being an orthodox holy land that needs to regain its' imperial glory and unite eurasia
> documentary made in 2022, sponsored by the russian state, clearly aimed at influencing the public perception of current events, instead of painting an unbiased picture of all the suffering that took place in 2014, interviewing not the many people that have been killed or dispersed, but the ones that have stayed in luhansk and have been happily eating up the russian state narrative for 8 years
> "this is why we need to bomb the residential sector in kyiv harder"
"Wow op this is so eye-opening, clearly the Simple People of ukraine can't wait for russian military to take over Their home, and only banderites have internet access in ukraine. If only anybody told their story, thank god putin is here to protect them"

Do you realize how ridiculous the combined square kilometrage alone of all the regions mentioned here is. Still the official language of these sovereign Asian states. Russian language and culture are not under any threat, do not fret.
"Cultural genocide of everything russian" sounds just as laughable as "Cultural genocide of everything american", i need you to seriously listen to yourself. Russians dgaf about americans living like it's the cold war still, unless they spend more time online with anglos than outside; russia holds a cultural domination in many of its former and all of its current subjects.

People are so normal and hinged, just one near death experience during a bombing of her city would put her brain back into place, vocally wishing death on predominantly young women on tumblr who are understandably having an emotional reaction to some people's obsession with exoticizing and drooling over russian culture when said ukrainian women's home is under a real, looming threat of occupation and subsequent forced russification, which nobody except other ukrainians and some eastern europeans seems to acknowledge much while talking about how "war is hell.. i wish everybody would just put their weapons down and hug each other.. :(".
Also "cultural genocide of everything russian across the globe" LMAO one can only laugh. Not like russia is a former empire and russian is to this day the dominant culture in most of the former soviet union.
