Putting on my delusional goggles for a second while rereading ADWD, but what can I say, a girl has no other hobbies as of late. There is this specific Tyrion chapter in which he is traveling through the Rhoyne, and this stood out to me as it reminded me of what Mel's told Jon she saw in the fire.

"..but there's another tale I like better. The one that says he's not like t'other stone men, that he started as a statue till a grey woman came out of the fog and kissed him with lips as cold as ice."

when the antis say grrm dgaf about Jonsa headcannons but he somehow found the time to fit the entire plot of Wuthering Heights into his books. And giving Sansa a 1:1 story to the most iconic gothic novel in literature means nothing. Especially the part where she'll reunite with her "Byronic hero" (grrm's words not mine) brother-cousin.

Things I clocked before the final season and the leaks:

1. Dany dying as a power hungry villain

2. Jon killing Dany

3. Sansa ending up as a Queen(I thought it was the 7k)

4. Bran ruling(Winterfell as a Prince-guess he switched with Sansa?)

5. No marriage between Jon and Dany

Things Aegony clocked before the final season:

1. Dany pregnant(with twins🤡🤡)

2. If Dany dies, she dies as a hero sacrificing herself

3. Sansa dying some stupid way

4. Jon marries Dany

5. If Jon somehow kills Dany, it's because it's needed for the good of the world and not bc of the monster Dany is(Nissa Nissa)

I think I have more media literacy than you lot because I didn't budge on jonsa and my stance on 1, 2 and 5 was very firm. I was literally fighting for my life as a Jon kills Dany truther specially when nearing the last season and many fake leaks came out but always with a JD wedding(in a godswood or Dragonstone) yet here we are.😂😂😂

Can't wait for the books and see Jon metaphorically stab Dany in the heart(for choosing love of Sansa) and also like literally.

Hey everyone! I’m not sure how many of you remember this user, but lostlittlesatellites or batterydeaddotdot was a well-known Jonsa meta-writer in our fandom. Sadly, they deactivated, and as far as I know, we don’t really know why. A big chunk of their amazing work seems to have been lost, which was so sad for so many of us.

But here’s the good news: I recently discovered that some of their metas were saved on the "Way Back Machine" site! So, I put together a list of some of their pieces to share with all of you. I’ve seen people not liking how innocent Naksu is now. But y’all have got to realise we are seeing Naksu as she would be if she hadn’t seen her father die, been raised as an assassin and forced to live alone in a harsh climate from childhood. She has no memories of the hell she has lived through. So she is innocent and acting that way because she hasn’t seen any horror.

She’ll eventually regain her memories but until she does it makes sense that she is acting the way she is currently. She’s still Naksu/Mudeok, all of her mannerisms and traits are still there. There’s just a layer of innocence that wasn’t there before.

And I dunno about y’all but I love her. Especially when her overly innocent self interacts with our newly dark and brooding Uk. The change in their dynamic is fun and interesting. and I cannot wait to see it develop more.

Twenty six eps in and it’s clear I will never be invested in the heaven part of the storyline (just as well, it enables me to ff and save time) but the Void part is everything I’ve ever wanted, a glorious fanfic come to life.

Kui is about to be harmed…

And Chaofeng manifests to protect her. The man who lied he only used her shows up and defends her with his magic even tho due to the pill from empress, it’s his death warrant and he knows it.

She is so ladylike and so fierce and I am living for this combo!

I really really love that for once the heroine’s reaction on finding out her beloved is a manipulator and did bad stuff is “well, does he love me for real despite that? Yes. Then I genuinely DNGAF about the rest.” AAAAAAA!!!!

I LOVE HER INSANE SELF!!! Her “you wronged me so you owe me your life so you can’t die” is amazing!!!

All of a sudden I care desperately for poor dutybound Youqin!

I love that the most proper and rulebound individual in the universe falls for wild child Tan but it makes sense because he can actually breathe around her. He and his OG fiancee, as duty bound as he is, would have actually made a terrible couple.

When he said he was glad she hated him so she won’t grieve and went off to die to save the world? Ouch!

And when he imagines her…

And he is still apologizing omg.

Ooof that this is whathe thinks of when he is dying.

All the dads in this drama are pure trash! Here is him preparing to sacrifice his life and all daddy cares is will it work, not even a twinge of concern for the son who is about to die.

The way he expects nothing else and it doesn’t even strike him as off…

This is the face of a man whose kid is about to march to his death.

And then he does die and can be revived but it’s risky so daddy is all nope. I love that Tan puts what I think into words. In this story it doesn’t matter if you are a perfect child according to Daddy’s measurements (Cui, Crown Prince, Wudui), a jinx (Third Void Prince, Tan) or neither (the rest of royal kids), the rulers only see the kids as pawns and reflections, they care nothing for them, not really, only what they represent.

AAAA! And the amazing and sad thing is she’s not really in love with him, not yet. She likes and admires him but she is not dying of passion. And yet she cares more than his father.

I can’t wait to see her tame poor mistreated demon version of YQ btw…

During the beginning, Ye Tan would mock Xuan Shang for always being rigid with the rules in the Heavenly realm. Being the most powerful, he was the overseer of everything.

Just like most main male characters in every xianxia drama, it would be no surprise that he too would put the world first before his love. And *spoiler He does save the world.

After he does save the world and fulfill his duties, he became what Ye Tan wanted: He puts her first. You can actually see that, especially when he forsakes his position just for her. He’s ready to take on anybody who will hurt her even if this means his family. He is very constant and is not afraid to show affection. He’s not the typical xianxia hero who hides his feelings behind grand gestures. He’s very affectionate and communicates his emotions very well with Ye Tan.  As the show progressed, you can actually see how his dedication and admiration continue to grow for her.
