you say you have trust issues but really you ignore red flags and then act surprised when people show you who they are.
trust issues aren't about being unable to trust. they're about trusting the wrong people and not trusting yourself.

the real problem: you ignore your gut when it tells you something's off. that feeling in your stomach when they say one thing but do another? you dismiss it.
you give people access to your heart, your home, your energy before they earn it. you trust potential over patterns.
you trust words over actions. they say all the right things so you ignore all the wrong behaviors.
you make excuses for red flags instead of running from them. "they're just going through something" becomes your favorite phrase.
what trust issues actually are: not trusting your own intuition. not trusting your ability to spot red flags. not trusting that you deserve better treatment.
how to fix it: trust your intuition first, other people second. that gut feeling is your inner wisdom trying to protect you.
make people earn your trust through consistency over time. words are cheap, actions cost something.
watch what they do when they think you're not looking. watch how they treat people who can't do anything for them.
have boundaries about who gets close to you. not everyone deserves access to your energy, secrets, or heart.
the truth: you can trust again when you learn to trust yourself first. you can let people in when you know you can let them out.
