Only seven more days of the interest check to go!

Some questions/concerns from it:

“Am I going to be kicked for having NSFW content on my ao3 account?” - Nope! We won't be doing background checks. As long as the things we've banned don't show up in the works you've made for the event, you're good!

“Would angst be okay?” - Absolutely!! It wouldn't be an ls q event without angst. You can write angst, fluff, hurt/comfort, or whatever else your heart desires! We'll be posting Genre/Tropes of the day alongside the prompts but that doesn't mean you have to follow them. They're just there for badges.

“Can we put references from different fandoms in our mcyt works?” - Of course!! References are always amazing.

MCYT QPR August Schedule

MCYT QPR August is an open for all prompts event centered around platonic relationships, specifically within MCYT fandoms.

We welcome all forms of creations - writing, art, gifs, moodboards, playlists, songs, etc! If you want to create it, it counts!

June 19th - June 30th - Interest check

July 1st - July 3rd - Posting the prompts and announcing badges!

August 4th - August 31st - Creation Period

September 1st - September 7th - Opening the Google forms for badge claiming & sending them out

RULES

1. Due to the fact that most of the mods are minors, NSFW creations will not be reblogged and won't be added to the ao3 collection. NSFW refers specifically to smut and sexual content, while topics such as underage drinking/drinking in general, smoking, RPF, etc are allowed however will only be reblogged by two of our mods, so we might miss some things.

2. Adding onto the previous rule, even though there's literally no way to stop people from creating fics containing incest, underage relationships (specifically, minor/adult), and rape, we kindly ask that you do not tag us in such works or tie this event to it in any way.

3. AI generated content is strictly prohibited.

4. Participants who are joining the discord server or posting on ao3 must be over 13 and follow their respective TOS.
